I feel like the man simply didn't know how to handle the situation, but I do agree to a certain extent. Hunger was super sweet and Ethan was respectful to him, but I can see why Howie wasn't feeling it. It was invited to be interviewed and then Ethan went off interviewing another dude while he was there, for a good chunk of the ep. It seemed to me like he wanted to focus the attention back on him. A bad taste attempt, for sure, but it has to be hard to keep the cool when a dude busts out a prolapse out of nowhere lol. All the love out to Hunger who seems like a really sweet and gentle guy.

They had a man push 6 inches of his large intestine out of his asshole live without giving Howie any warning or asking for his consent. This was after an hour straight of Howie explaining how he regretted making the tiktok and didn't want any more issues with sponsors. I'd say Howie handled it pretty well all things considered. If you want to be mad at anyone, be mad at Ethan for engineering the situation and not checking whether Howie would be comfortable with seeing that.

Yeah, I get it, it's something extreme and different, and the joke for the first minute is okay... until you realize that Hunger seems like such a sweet guy and is just rolling with the punches. I also agree that I love seeing my idea of Ethan I like reinforced here, he gets around the fisting thing quickly and then genuinely starts asking Hunger all these questions about his life. I think my favorite part was when Hunger was saying something, and then Howie starts talking over him because he wants to inject his 95th "fisting is disgusting"-joke, and Ethan cuts them off and says "sorry guys, Hunger was saying something, please let him finish". Because I really felt like Howie was treating Hunger a bit like a performance at a freakshow, and Ethan really reeled it in to humanize this interview.

WE LOVE HUNGER!! When he was talking about his anxiety and overwhelming feelings it really showed that he is such a nice genuine person who cares about what he does and it isnt just some way to get fetish money or something wild like that. Hes great. Sad Howie kept interrupting and being rude. I felt bad for Hunger not being able to fully explain himself

I was getting so frustrated with all the sentences and thoughts he had to just abandon. And how Howie was just saying such rude shit. It’s was like he thought Hunger wasn’t real and he could say whatever. Edit: I thought howie was fun and all good for the majority of the episode. This just rubbed me the wrong way.

Ethan and Hila did such a good job of politely redirecting Howie when the vibes got weird while talking with Hunger. Things like that are the difference between a good host and an intelligent interviewer. I'm so glad they made such a conscious effort to make him feel welcome. With the exception of the weird vibes in the middle of the interview, one of my favorite episodes ever!!! I haven't laughed that hard in a while 🤣🤣🤣
