I feel so bad for Jeff, loosing your dog is so hard. My dog just turned 19 and honestly it’s so tough, she’s still got an amazing personality and is healthy. But she has dementia and it’s so hard to deal with. But the thought of loosing her breaks my heart, I wake up every morning wondering if she has passed. I’ve had her since I was 13 and she was a puppy, she’s my best friend and has been through so so much with me. The thought of her not being around makes my heart break everyday. I think allot of people don’t understand how important and loved our fury family members are to us.

when you spoke about losing a dog it resonated so much with me. i lost my dog at the start of the year. he was my best friend for 18 years. like you said i think people don’t understand unless you go through similar. the grief & heartache doesn’t go away, like you said it’s like losing a family member. it’s painful but it’s nice in a weird way to know others feel similar & we aren’t alone in it. ❤️ peace & love

13:10 my dog passed away on Hallows eve this year. He was 10 years old still acted like a happy puppy even right before we had to put him down. He was also my parents dog aswell. It wrecked us, the pain truly never goes away. You learn how to manage it after a while but it can still hit like a huge truck at random times. My heart goes out to everyone who's had pets pass, its never an easy thing.
