It's true when Ethan said they see women as an extension of themselves. They see women as an object to show off to other men, and not as people. The reason they make fun of Hila is because they hate that a "fat guy" has a beautiful wife and relationship and it goes against their alpha male crap.

I watched this philosophy video last week that talked about how basically cishet men in general tend to make it more about domination than anything in relationships. Rather than it being about dominating the woman, it's actually about dominating other men which is sorta funny, but mostly just sad. It's hard for me to really grasp how people can see their partners this way instead of finding someone they love for the person they are and not what they can get out of being with them.

People like Steve simply can't fathom someone who's not obsessed with working out having a happy, fulfilling life full of friends and family who love them. He has to attack a beautiful woman like Hila because her loving relationship flies in the face of everything he believes- that you can only gain something like that if you're obsessed with working out and being fit. Unfortunately for him, working out will not fix his bloated, reddened thumb of a face. Nor will it fix his brain rotted from alcohol, or blind women to his obvious disdain of them.

when you spoke about losing a dog it resonated so much with me. i lost my dog at the start of the year. he was my best friend for 18 years. like you said i think people don’t understand unless you go through similar. the grief & heartache doesn’t go away, like you said it’s like losing a family member. it’s painful but it’s nice in a weird way to know others feel similar & we aren’t alone in it. ❤️ peace & love

18 years! That's so harrowing, it's awful to lose a pup at any stage but at 18, that's a whole ass kid. That's a sibling. Bloody hell. I'm so so sorry. My boy is 10 this year and he's had a lot of health issues during his life but he's still doing good, seeing him getting more and more grey is hard. The way he dropped such personal and private information about his girlfriend really pissed me off. Even more so when that gross OLD ASS dude makes her come over so he can perv all over her about it. I hope she realizes that this was not okay and totally disgusting. And then they even posted it!! They could have edited that out and made a choice not to. When you are allowed to call woman "bitches" and "hoes" and view them as sex objects this is what you get.

she deserves better and I hope she makes a run for it ASAP. If he talks about women like that, blatantly and in front of you, he's most certainly talking about you that way when you've had a disagreement or when he's with "the boys." Gross.
