Ren had a number one album, it was UK number 1 when it dropped. It BEAT the Rolling Stones, biggest band in history. He did this as an independent artist - NO label backing, NO promo tours, NO tv ad drops, NO marketing. He did it all off his own back (along with talented teams around him), his talent, intellect, skill and musicality carried him to where he deserves to be. Lil Bidet or Lil Jaccuzzi or whatever he's called (micro uzi?) can drop a number 1 album in the US because he has the backing of a label and the generative bonuses that come with it. Ask him to gain 1m followers in UNDER a year AND put out an independent number one album (writing his own beats n barz and NOT use lyric and music ghostwriters?) - he couldn't do it.

Frankly, I'm just glad to finally find a rap reactor who knows the difference between metaphor, simile, and double entendre. Most just go with the latter, which for some reason drives me nuts.🤷♂️ It's only a double entendre is if one or more meaning is sexual. . Oh, sh*t, he even took shots at Scru? Didn't know that...
@H8tfulJay Жыл бұрын
Lol, I appreciate this homie
@DanKaschel6 ай бұрын
Double entendre just means "double meaning", doesn't need to be sexual. For example, saying a dude raving on top of a building is "high as shit" is double entendre because he's both physically high but also acting like he's high on drugs. However, it is neither metaphor nor simple.

I think you meant innuendo for having a dual sexual meaning, otherwise a double entendre just means “double meaning” ❤️👍

Doesnt need to have a "sexual" meaning, i see that others have already corrected the original posters wild & completely wrong definition.

I started listening about 1984 part Gen X I thought by the 90s racial division in music was pretty much gone. It crossed over and we saw an evolutionof rap…ren speaks the truth at the end of this..higher powers want races fighting so they can’t focus on them..music is a place we’re there should never be racism

Basically, Dotta was trying to get attention. Knox dropped a new song, Killshot [remix]. It had a John Wick scheme, which included one of JW's nicknames, bogeyman (apparently something Dotta referred to himself as) and a line "talking a Lotta dotta" (or something along those lines). Dotta took those as shots at him with Michelle Show (aka Eugene) gassing him up when he reacted to Killshot saying the 2 lines were shots at Dotta. Michelle is a reaction channel all about being a hater. Dotta was all up in Knox's comment section and other reactors talking shit about them and their fans. Dotta dropped a diss at Knox (as a response to the "diss" in Killshot), called Crown. Knox didn't respond. Dotta went up in Ren's comment section, talking more shit and basically challenged Ren. Ren agreed, and they agreed to the rules (one-take video recorded and uploaded) and dotta hesitated, saying he writes so many lyrics that he couldn't remember them all and needed his phone (which is why the beginning saying okay, one shot or whatever he says in his diss track). Dotta went first and dropped his diss to Ren, Kingdom Come. Knox dropped the Stan [remix] diss within 2 hours as a response to Kingdom Come. There was no response 24 hours later, so he dropped Patiently Waiting. Over a week later, Dotta drops 3 more diss tracks, but no lost momentum in the reaction space (I've had seen 2 reactors that reacted to them after 24 hours of 2 of the 3 dropping and haven't seen anymore).
@danielnelson31362 ай бұрын
That's mostly true but I'll add onto what you just said and correct your points here. 1. After that bar from Knox Hill 'you talk a lotta dotta.' he also followed up with 'you ain't got the heart your heart's like water.'. They had a back and forth in social media between Knox Hill and King Dotta FIRST, then it's when King Dotta was instigating a bit more at Knox Hill due to what he said in his tweets, and some back and forth racist shit(unfortunately Knox Hill and King Dotta tweets were deleted but I was there and can say it was nasty from both sides both sides spitting venom). So it's not only bad energy from King Dotta but Knox Hill played a part in it. 2. MichelleShow is not just all about being a hater, but MichelleShow is another react Channel which he gives more raw reacts and HONEST OPINIONS! I think you're confusing MichelleShow's hater series, hating on cribs series, and several other videos were he's more popular hating and clowning on some YT Channels that deserve the hate and criticism. 3. Yes, it's confirmed that King Dotta mostly instigated beef with Ren first as Ren is Knox Hill's 'friend' or at least collab, so it's natural for him to instigate and shots at Ren too.IDK about King Dotta claiming he was hesitating, but there was a clip that's rough and a first take of King Dotta's Last point about King Dotta's 3 diss tracks on Knox Hill, they were actually nice and even one of them he switched up the flow to be a faster one. Last thoughts on this whole beef, IMHO yep it's immature, but if he's clout chasing for views it's understandable. Also, thanks to thsis beef we at least know who King Dotta is, and get exposed to a more old school style of rapping which IMHO edged a win against Ren and Knox Hill, all because for me Ren's and Knox Hill's voices sound soft and not deeper or heavier for the bars they're saying.

I'm British, 67 & White, so that's 3 strikes. Here after checking out the Dotta reference in the Kujo Beat Down. Have no idea as to the background of this beef, to me it seems like Dotta was just looking for views. While I love hip-hop & rap (along with Classical, Rock, Blues & Jazz) I've never been into Battle-Rap so I could be missing a lot but I've only two thoughts to add; one your analysis seems fair to me and Dotta got off light compared to kujo.

As always you speak the truth bro. And Ren himself understands where Rap music started and came from. And he always pays homage in his own way to the OG's. You'll see when you do the acoustic version of Murderer. At the end of the song Ren plays a CLASSIC Hip Hop beat on guitar and it's funny how many old heads that are reactors and claim they know everything about Hip Hop either don't pick up on the beat Ren plays, they totally get the song and artist wrong, or they just can't figure it out. I sit there screaming at my phone watching their videos "YOU IDIOTS, YOU MENTIONED TEN TIMES HE'S IN L.A. WHAT FRIGGEN RAPPER IS FROM CALIFORNIA AND L.A." haha Michelle Show is a guy named Michelle with dreads who uses a cartoon filter on his face and his whole stich is just being a hater. Almost EVERY one of his music reactions is hate. There's also rumors that Queen Dopey paid Michelle Show to pump his music and diss Ren in his reactions. So that's why Ren included him too. Michelle Shows reaction to Ren's diss was pretty funny though. Especially when he got to the part when Ren dissed him lol. But yeah all he does is hate on everything, especially white rappers and artists.

Michelle is garbage and trying to spread hate for likes. The roots of Ren are deep and most of these "reactors" don't appreciate the depths and don't get the subtle hints even when they aren't subtle at all and right in front of their faces. REN is goat level and I wouldn't be surprised if he was the next artist signed to Dre and Em's label. He is in LA after all😂

Ren and Dota didn't really have a beef. Dotta kept taking shots and making dis tracks at Rappers like Knox Hill (with 1M subs) but when this started Dotta had only 900 subs. He was just trying to provoke someone to reply. When he started on Ren - being Ren - he said sure.. I'm in. Dotta's over 3000 subs now so he's more than tripled his subs. Unfortunately most Ren fans aren't necessarily Rap specific and Dotta will need to raise his game to interest them for long.

I feel that the biggest reason for Ren's quick success other than his mad talent. Most of his music, and even this battle, has a positive message. That is something different. Sure some hip-hop songs don't have a negative message, but i cant think of very few that have a positive one. Racism? We need to join together before the machines take over 😊. There are good and bad people in every race, and they should be judged on that alone. That is my view.

Facts, bro. It annoys me too when some modern Rappers (and some not so) say it is/was a Black Culture, showing their ignorance. A lot forget there are 4 pillars to Hip Hop (some say five), and a variety of races were involved in it's inception, even though Rapping was def headed by Talented Black Artists (Though others too, for sure. Eg./ Cold Crush Brothers' Charlie Chase was Latino, circa late 70's -RIP), *B'Boying* was led by the white & Latino group, Rock Steady Crew , *Graffiti* was pioneered by a Greek guy, tagger Taki 183. *DJing* was introduced by DJ Kool Herc, a Jamaican. In the beginning Hip hop was about Counter Culture and was prevalent in all low income neighbourhoods of all races, it was during the mid 80's when it began to spread further a field. In the 90's it got really diluted, and was seen as being all about guns, fast cash and calling women hoes (themselves doing it too), mainly because Gangs were in the spotlight. Now-a-days it has really evolved thankfully, and is recognised as a worldwide movement. Move love to all Hip Hop followers

Ren had fun with this! But also used it as an opportunity to fight for change by killing with kindness. This is why we love him and why the world needs him ❤ The Ren that we know sick boi with sick flows spreading love not hate when he steps up to the plate the goat in his rabbit hole with a strong and beautiful soul he deserves all the support after the light he shone for us 🐐🐰🕳️ #RENegade

Also I know Ren didn’t have real beef with Dotta though he didn’t agree with the way Dotta went about things. Knox genuinely got pissed off because Dotta started going after his community in the comments. He had ignored him until that point but ended up responding then to shut it down. With two tracks. He put out a second one just 24 hours after the first one cause Dotta hadn’t responded yet. While I appreciate that Ren just wanted to give Dotta a chance with a shoutout, I really don’t agree with the way Dotta went about this whole thing either. I hope he was just making shit up in the comments to ignite a beef, but I really don’t think he had to bring race into it. When I first heard of this battle...Dotta had like 79 subs. That was before Ren responded.

Do the Knox diss. As someone on the edge of the culture I like what people who live the culture have to say.

The fact he started dissing Ren and Knox hill while he sat at 800 subs and all this was created at the Michelle show full of haters, there’s not much to understand 😂. Great reaction bro

It was black music, it isn't anymore just like Jazz, ROCK and roll ect.. Everything evolves

I'm guessing that Ren hopes that this helps Dottas career(considering how much he assist people reacting to his music). sounds strange but yeah, he's doing it for good. Also, you just have to accept a duel

Yes, the really great artists live for their work; it feels like they are born to do what they do. Race, nationality or gender are irrelevant when it comes to ability, but not opportunity, sadly.

From what I heard, Dotta thought Knox was dissing him on his Killshot song (I don’t think he was). Then it turned into drama. But I think Dotta just wanted to get some traction because he had barely any subs/views on his channel, so what better way to get noticed then go after Ren who just hit 1 million subscribers. Just my opinion.

Dotta was clout chasing. Ren squashed the beef with his bodying of Dotta, then gave Dotta his flowers. Ren is the bigger man always....Laughed way to hard at the "Put the cake down" line tho.

King Daughter had less than 1000 subscribers when he dropped his Knox and Ren Diss tracks! Highly recommend ya watch his his interview with Rosalie! He describes his thoughts on the culture! Search for that part... many have covered it alone even! FYI... he's dropping Love Music pt 4 in 3 days... first 3 are Great! Just saying! Lol

This whole shit with dotta pissed me off, I LOVED old school rap in the early 90’s. There just hasn’t been anything original that I’ve heard that has captured that spirit like ren’s art. I don’t give a fuck “who” or “what” race does it. There just hasn’t been. Not as original and artistic as him anyways. REN’s is bringing the “culture” forward no matter the race. The art of it is being brought to another level. That’s all that matters, as this is about the art form. Nothing else.
