The difference is we as Scottish fans know our team aren’t great and don’t expect to win but still manage to go away and have a great time no matter where we go. In all seriousness, Scotland are so good at losing dramatically after leaving everything on the pitch. It’s genuinely amazing how utterly predictable they are at it over and over again. It would be a genuine nightmare to be a Scottish supporter. The hope of winning inevitably being pulled away at the last minute time and time again would be sickening to constantly experience.

As an England fan I used to always have one eye on the other Home Nations hoping they also won but in recent years the Scots and Welsh fans and players have become so nasty that I absolutely revel in their losses. I have to say that this is one of the worst defeats I have seen in watching Scotland for over 50 years. Not because we were rubbish, but because we played quite well, dominated the game, and lost to a great shot, that would have scored against any team in the world, and two stupid penalties. When they announced 8 minutes injury time, and we were pressing for a winner, the commentater said 'there's still time'. Im thinking there's still time for Poland as well. So predictable!

@SBandy McTominay was a massive liability for years as a center midfielder for United and the black and white numbers from last season don’t lie. He was in the 6th percentile (in a bad way) for passes attempted, 7th percent for shot creating actions, 10th percentile for progressive passes, 17th percent for interceptions, 30th percent for successful take ons, 44th percent for pass completion percentage, and 51st percent for tackles. Those are the black and white numbers. McTominay is not a forward like Haaland who can ghost most of the match going literally 10 minutes at a time without a single touch, as a center midfielder, and then pop up with goals every 6-7 matches. Because McTominay is a center midfielder and his primary responsibility was to help United dictate and control the flow of matches. He categorically failed at that over many seasons. His goals every 6-7 matches making late runs into the box come at the expense of virtually every other aspect of his game. And it was a massive net negative for United. He’s a liability much more than he is an asset as a center midfielder.

He's never gonna get in ahead of Bruno more attacking and couldn't play CM against transition. Fergie kept all those players around world class stars - not to rely on week on week

In fairness,for a country of only 5.5 million,you will mostly always be up against it internationally ! But to critcise the English league just because foreign owners want to invest,foreign managers want to manage there,and some of the best foreign players want to play there is a bit 'sour grapes' i think.I'd personally love to see the SPL more competitive,and foreign companies,and managers go to the 2 Edinburgh,and Dundee sides,and Aberdeen,to end this Celtic and Rangers league domination,but it hasn't,and won't ever happen unfortunately !
