Make sure you read the text description! It’s 18 cords instead of 20. She corrected herself if the description in the video, but I was following along on my tv and cant see descriptions. 20 cords wont work out. I got down to the eyes and realized something wasnt right. I had to add 2 cords to make 22 and then expanded the pattern to get it to work without undoing. Thanks for the tutorial and cute pattern, but I think it would be super beneficial if you could add an annotation in the video for those of us that cant read the description :)

Can you use 3 mm cord instead?

Why the instructions are to cut 20 cords? In the pattern there's clearly 18 cords. I started with 20 and it went wrong.
