After taking the crap they took for selecting Reinbacher, there is precisely zero chance that they're going to trade him barely a year after making him their selection. He's their guy. They turned down multiple deals for him already (Askarov, Gauthier etc.).

Agreed! IMO it is all about defensive pairings. For example, if Reinbacher is paired with Hutson on the 2nd pairing, he will be strong enough defensively to cover for Hutson supporting the offense. What a plus that would be! Similar to Guhle doing less offensively to stay back for Matheson moving forward.

There are two comments i heard about Tij that got me on his wagon, first i heard that the apple had not fallen far from the tree in his case & that he is known for his work ethic... just those two points sold me that if he is our pick i would be more than happy. His father was drafted 11th yet finished as the best producer of his draft year. we skipped over Tkachuk recently as we had with daddy Iginla for a certain Terry Ryan that played 8 games...

I could see a scenario where the Ducks and HABS swap picks if Columbus wants a D man who’d be available at 5th. HABS throw a draft pick or Harris to the Ducks
