I went after him right after that intro chapter of the game (when players can't log out). I went to a 49 field area with Silabus and Pyros the 3rd, wiped out all monsters and waited around 10 min. It shouldn't be difficult with your Morale gauge full on beast mode. The battle took me less than a minute and he was done, and I ended up getting 2 great weapons right at the beginning of the game :)

*also, should be a lot better using the twin blades, since it has more strikes and don't have area attacks, so the doppel won't be attacking everyone around with it. You can even run into him with a low lvl twin blade, so he would mimic those stats, and you can change for a better one right after the battle starts.

You can actually do this even earlier either solo before talking with everyone in Mac Anu or with PI before visiting Moon Tree HQ. At LV50 you can go to Delta Roaring Bustling Ocean, which is a LV 48 Field with a small map and a Sleipnir Lucky Animal. Abuse Sleipnir's effects by resetting the battle with smokescreens, and just keep ramming into DG with your bike. It's more difficult to solo without Beast Awakening due to those crazy healing effects. Once you get it under 150 HP, just use hangman to paralyze and finish it off quick with your arts! Or just kill it with your final fifth bike wheelie!

do you have to clear area for him to spawn? I got him to spawn without clearing monster, but now he disappeared & wont return. Thanks! I got my party to lv100 if that makes a difference or not

i always preferred beast over demon awakening as i found it missed alot against single enemies and didnt do much against PKs and the doppel if RNG wasnt on your side. one thing i liked doing was a beast awakening powered rengeki. hard to say if it did more then just you and your team wailing on him i didn't use magic casters against the doppel ether as he can move out of the AOE of the spells

Yeah i liked Beast for while too. Everyone plays and likes differntly though, so its all good.

i think you should do the rouge weapon attack guard cancel like broadsword its effective. dont use schyte its useless because of the slow attack dopple on vol 2 is so much more weaker that vol 1, equip heaven and customized with sleep plus health drain. there you have it full blown sleep attack, the dopple will be constantly proc with sleep.

Scythe is my favourite weapon so I used that. I know bout the guard cancellin, but I didnt use it in this because I was blastin through the series. You shouldnt follow guides step by step, they are just general guidelines. Everyone plays differently. I appreciate you mentioning better ways, but sayin things like "I think you should" or 'Dont use" is restrictive and unappreciated. Please be more courteous when relayin what you want to say. @@ZatsHonora yes everyone plays differently but you used the cheat option because haseo isnt even supposed to be dealing 9999 damage by vol 2 none of the charecters should be level 99 either when the maximum level cap for vol 1 is 50 there for this guides sucks and not Even a challenge because your one shotting everything you say dont follow guides step by step i say you shouldnt be making guides at all 😆

@@lightning13clair29 When your lvl 99 and fight enemies that are lvl 50ish with the best gear you can get in vol. 2 then yes you do. I didnt bother with the cheat option at all because im a grinder. This and disgaea are some of my fav game series. No point in usin cheats. xD

Idk if that is what your asking for, but if it's about the keyword required for him to appear at the begging when you just got to an area, the word would be the 3rd one, "Moonlight". You get it on your emails after you finish the storyline of vol. 2

Also, in order to get the word I think you must convert the data from vol. 1 right when you start vol. 2, so later on when you beat the game, they send you an email with the required word

Hello. I've just beaten him in volume 1 and got the key item but after loging in to my volume 2 save there is no key item. Do I have to start all over AFTER beating him in volume 1?

In order for it to transfer to the next volume, yes unfortunatley you need to start vol 2 with that data. Data doesnt diverge into other saves. Once you beat vol 1 you import it to 2. SO for the Doppelgange data to import, you need to restart vol 2.

You can find DG really early in Vol 2 at Delta Roaring Bustling Ocean. It's a small map with Mecha Grunty and a Lucky Animal. It's really easy to duo this with PI before visiting Moontree HQ if you're at level 50. Just build up Morale and clear the map first before it spawns. Then you can abuse Sleipnir's effects by using smokescreens, and ramming into DG with your bike. Once its health is low, just finish it off with Beast Awakening dealing as much damage possible and you'll have the best items really early in the game!

I beat doppleganger at level 51. The rest of the game is practically a cake-walk. Damn those dual blades break the game balance if you get em early lol

It was fairly difficult. But beast awakening made one hell of difference. Ripper's Blades really helped.

Oh, I should also add I beat him again when I got my job extension around level 60 so I could get the scythe. I'm now sitting on Heine's Shadow, Heine's Invasion, Heine's Zero, Own King, Forgotten Shadow, and Moonlight Faith. Better yet, I did that all before I even go to the 2nd arena fight :D Hell, I knuckled up and punched through Bikman's Quest too. Hooray for checklists.

If you fought doppelganger in vol. 1 then transferred your data. You shouldve gotten. it. To fight doppelganger in vol. 1 you have to stand in a field dungeon for 10min. I guides from vol. 1- vol. 3. If you havent done it in Vol.1 you wont be able reap all the rewards.

Sorri for the late reply. It works with any field dungeon. Moonlight is the only word you need to get him to spawn. I shouldve been more clear, my bad. Best of luck o/"

Some of the worst enemies I've seen in a game. The regen is gamebreaking and if you drop their hp to 0 but knock them through the air, they can regen from 0 to 50 before hitting the ground causing a bug making them invincible and you can't damage them without using a smokescreen and starting over.

Must be because you didn't covert the data of vol. 1 when you started vol. 2. When you beat doppel on volume 1, he drops an key item called "Own King", which is required on vol. 2 for him to drop the twin blades
