I can't post the links here. My github account is flxkrmr and the project is called flxkrmr/eec-iv-reader-arduino and flxkrmr/eec-iv-reader-gui I can build you a flashed reader, it just takes a bit time. Just send me a message.

Im a former Ford mechanic and also still own quite a few. My favorite is my 1993 Ranger, which uses EEC-4, and I've been very curious about opening up the factory program and seeing what we can modify. Count me subscribed.❤

this is quite a big advance over the gunson's code reader that just 'flashes' - which is what I use on my MK1 Mondeo with EEC IV - a gunson 4127

Sorry, with new youtube guidelines I can't really post links to github. My github account is flxkrmr and the projects are called flxkrmr/eec-iv-reader-reader and flxkrmr/eec-iv-reader-gui

all my support here,, I had similar ideas but I will give some main lines that would help you a lot with the project - try checking how the VCM II works that is the original Ford communication adapter... - IDM is the main programming program that is used by Ford in connection with VCM II - If you managed to turn the Arduino into a VCM II >>> this will give all the OEM and ECU controls and Programming capabilities Wishing you all the best ,,, I love working on Arduino too and I will be glad if I can offer any of my tiny information to help you on this project :))
