Not sure if you already know, or care, but you can totally buy USB to barrel plug cords. I have several of the standard 3.5 mm and 2.5 mm ones for various devices.

This seems like a great idea. Oh those toys... or if you're a professional chess player. Hook it up to AdafruitIO and track sleeping habits ensuring both child and/or parent has enough sleep... though I've heard parents not getting enough sleep is part of the process. Not sure if logging would be useful, I've never read up on the subject to know if logging would be of any help. For portability/rechargeable battery there's now a LIPO BFF which should be compatible with the seed xaio.

Logging could potentially be helpful to try to pick up patterns! Though 3 months into parenting, we rarely use the monitor at this point anyways.
