Genius! Makes me think the company should have done this for us, lol.

It does seem kinda obvious. Even if the caps just came pre primed that would be amazing

Great idea. For what it’s worth you probably could have edited out about two thirds of your dropper cap painting - showing just a few being painted would have gotten the point across, especially combined with that great final shot.

Thank you for the advice. It can be challenging to leave sections on the cutting room floor.

It's a great idea... sorry only 100+ people saw it so far and (now) only 3 have bothered to comment.

I appreciate the comment. I’m really focusing on sharing what’s going on in my hobby journey so that’s kinda par for the course with a smaller channel

Maybe first cover the bottles then zenothal only caps and then paint them? That would be best hack 2.0 for Speedpaint 2.0 😂

I’ve really liked this set. Go check out some of the Artis Opis videos, it’s amazing what he can pull off with contrast paints

Nice! Rather than getting some admittedly cool looking custom printed skulls or some other type of cap-piece to show the true paint colors, I'm doing this! What a great and simple idea. Did you end up doing a matte varnish on them for handling? Plus, if doing a varnish on minis always anyway, I think it would make sense to view the paints with the varnish on them? I'm a new painter myself. I did it as a kid, but that was long ago. Thanks again! Have a great day!

It really does help a lot. I definitely should have done a matte varnish over the top because with handling some of them have chipped/rubbed off. Thanks!
