its called white hat hacking, vs black hat hacking. This is a reference to western films where the protagonist of the film often wore a white cowboy hat and the antagonist wears a black one. White hat hacking is very much a thing and is largely used in cybersecurity.

For everyone watching, there’s only one solution to this : Hang up immediately if you hear an Indian accent trying to be anything else. It’s very unique, thick and easy to pick up even for old people. If there are no victims to scam then there’s no money in it, and they will shut down automatically. Even though scam baiters are doing God’s work, nothing actually happens on the ground because of two reasons : 1. Corruption 2. It’s somebody else’s money and not Indians’. Awareness is the only way to get rid of this issue. And I say this as an Indian. There are legit call centres here that are losing legit business because of these guys.

It's easy to judge, but if you're sufficiently cunfused about things which are very new (relatively, for you), such as computers, Internet, credit cards, apps, etc, it's not all that strange. These people probably accept a lot that seems strange to them every day. And when you're scared as well, which these guys make sure you are, with their threats and bad tempers, the calculating and logical part of the brain "shuts down" for many people. So yeah, very tragic, but not all that strange.

It’s really sad to see so many people were scammed,especially the elderly. The government should have done something, but instead it’s the kind hearted individual trying to stop these scammers. Thank you for all that you have done!

I was reading the comments as I watched this video. So many people were saying how the man at the end couldn't have been less appreciative. It is weird, you'd think he would have been extremely thankful! Maybe he was overloaded with what was happening. Either way, it was so awesome how you saved him and kicked the scammers ass! Thank you for all that you do. I don’t think people realize how important and selfless the work you are doing truly is.
