My God Arpy is insane. His Halo stuff is amazing but I had no idea the knife could actually hack stuff like in Titanfall. I thought it was just a neat melee weapon.

How is it you move around while aiming with both hands on the gun and still using arm swinger? There a good demo around 9:50 of you doing it, you’re not really stepping around your space as far as I can tell but the gun is steady and you’re moving kinda far

There is an option under the armswinger settings for "base movement speed" where you can move while just holding the locomotion button down. Super useful for aiming while moving and reloading while moving

Hey Jedi I know you used to have your own sort of stream integration mod what with the flashbang spawns and everything. I was wondering if it's possible to make a stream integration that can spawn in viewers as allied or enemy sosigs? Also I was wondering if you ever released your stream integrations for download?

Actually working on the spawning thing soon! I do not have it available to download, as the code is a mess plus it relies on paid external software to interface with twitch (InstructBot) but am planning on releasing at least the slomo soon

I suggest that you knock down a sosig with a good ol stock bash or helmet shot with a low cal bullet before hacking them. Hope this’ll help you with your next data knife run!

What are the mods you use that show the number of tokens and completed holds? What about the screen vignette?

Take & Hold QOL for the holds and tokens. The screen effects are part of Escapeframe health mod

How did you manage to hold the knife without holding the trigger? I've tried to grab it and if i dont hold the trigger it just falls (im on HTC Vive)

I don't remember, but there might be an in game setting that makes you hold melee weapons like guns

not sure if anyone can help with this, but the sossigs die before the hack is done, im trying to figure out how to stop that from happening. any suggestions

Ill have to check, but there might be a config setting to change how long it takes for the hack to occur. It was definitely picky though.

adding onto my comment, i did a bit of digging (sorry arpy), and there is a piece of code called hacktime in a string under hackingconfig, i would assume changing that would decrease the time, but i do wish i could change it through the R2 mod managers config editor so i dont have to decompile and attempt to recompile. overall though the mod is insanely well developed, as is with all of arpys other mods.

Data knife mod crashes my game, took me forever to finally get my first hack and it crashed a minute later. Took forever to get a 2nd hack too only as soon as I saw 255, game crash... I just wanted a sosig ally

One thing I feel like it would be annoying to deal with if I actually played H3, is how Jedi always carries buttloads of guns. I cannot explain it well, but I feel as though it would be a massive pain in the duck to deal with 4 or 5 guns on you, even more so with limited ammo since you now need to juggle different ammo types. I feel as though I would be fine with one pistol and two long guns. For people who actually play this game, what are your thoughts on the matter?

modding the game is cool n all, but every time I try to download certain mods it just gets stuck at 100% and never actually installs

Are you downloading things one at a time or in batches? R2 can be picky on machines with limited RAM with multiple downloads
