Hacking The Ford Raptor | FORScan Changes

We're using the FORScan software to change some programming features on my 2017 Ford Raptor. This applies to any Ford vehicle with Sync 1, 2, or 3. Hope this video helps.

When you went in to do the double honk there is also a line to leave the fog lights on with high beams. That is great for lighting the sides of the road at night.

Nice video, I preach this software like gospel to all my ford owner friends. For anyone out there interested, if you think you'll be changing things regularly (like enabling/disabling TPMS twice a year when swapping to winter wheels etc.) buy a nicer adapter, the OBDLink MX+ is what i've always seen recommended. If you're a set it and forget it kind of person, a USB adapter with an MS-Can HS-Can switch will do just fine.

On the Auto start/stop I just went behind the break pedal under the dash there is a 1''wide white terminal with 3 plugs in it just unplug the bottom one.have not had any problem yet that was a year ago.

That's really cool. I didn't know you could do that with Ford. I've got VAGCOM for my Audi and that let me change a bunch of stuff that's built in. I am a big fan of being able to do stuff like this. I had to get a windows PC for tuning my motorcycle. Only reason I have one, lol

I've got a 2019 Raptor 801a package. I updated the Manual Climate Control the other day to have Auto Climate control (it does work but lost my heated seats). Any idea what the actual Forscan values would be to add the Climate Icon to the Sync 3, as well as adding the Cabin Temperature? Great video btw!

Hi I wonder if you can help I live in the U K and I have a 2017 Ford Edge and want to activate the usb 2 witch is the grey plug next to the black on the rear of Apim I’m not sure if the programming will be the same as the f series’s trucks but seeing that the edge was built for uk market with sync 3 I’m hoping the coding will be the same using forscan

That’s the only way you can turn on/off the heated wheel , this allows you to add heated / cooled seat next to the wheel icon .

Auto windows only works on windows with one touch roll down/up

I have done a few things with forscan on my 2012 F150(in my profile picture) Turned on DRLs Bambi more(highbeam and foglights) Lane change turn signal from 3-5 clicks Turned off hyperflash for LED bulbs Enabled remote start(with parts) It is pretty easy to do.

The gas tank went from 326 to 399 left to empty after the temp change mod. Did it go back to reading normal after driving?

markwh668 It’s just an oil pressure switch, that ford has animated the gauge. It goes to low when there is almost no oil left or no pressure, like the old red idiot light.

Probably. But to be fair, you can restore your factory settings with the backup I explained in the beginning of the video. I’m sure if you flash it back, you won’t have any issues.

It shouldn't, i'm pretty close with the dealer i bought my FoRS from and I brought it up to the service manager. The way he explained it was that most of the configuration changes you can make can also be changed by the dealer at customer request, and it doesn't rewrite main modules like an engine tune would (but does rewrite things like the body control module). As always with the warranty thing YMMV, talk to your own dealer first. I personally enabled window control through the keyfob, enabled fog lights with high beams, disabled tpms, enabled nav in motion, added the climate control screen, and added GPS instructions to the instrument panel.
