Thank you Jim! You became one of my mentors in this intricate process. My previous i485 was denied because USCIS didn't grant me the Interfiling with my approved Eb2. I sent a new i485 eleven days after the denial, asking for INA 245K exemption. I received a brand new combo card within a month of the filling. Am I also exposed if I travel outside USA?

My case i have i512L.used it in 2006 and 07...then come back ...while my case pending...then my wife filed dissolution ending my application...i went and filed assylum few years later i got denied then i appeal with 9 th circuitst got rule on my behaf for review. .judge refused to do so ...But i was able to get my SSN ..work permit.then AG the racist Session himself put me again in removal ..fight again petition with 9 circuits denied Session the racist...now ..in 2020 corona time due to my mother getting old i force myself to go home visit her ...i had 4 years now ...all my 20 years career in US ..divorce matter. Business bank account identity theft van stolen...im thinking to make trip to US with my old I512L...what you advice.thanks

It is probably fine unless your i485 is denied while you are out of the USA... It would be a problem.... It should be used only if necessary but I'm sure that for most part of people, it's fine ... I just received it but will travel probably only if necessary.....

Advance parole is only for re-entry to U.S .. its got nothing to do with other countries so you can travel the entire world
