I wish they’d FIX legal immigration and make it smoother…. I mean for crying out loud Trumps wife is an immigrant and so is the vice president Elects wife. I’m all for ppl Coming here legally but why do they have to make it so difficult when coming the right way, when we need immigrants here. This country was founded on immigration. I don’t understand it. I don’t believe in illegal immigration but LEGAL needs fixed badly….

I-130 approved. I-485 not approved cause I have no sponsor. It’s just lame because I was in an accident and can’t work anymore so there for can’t sponsor my husband. We have been married 8 yrs. Waited 5 yrs and was in an accident two years ago….

My mom is a US citizen who filed for me with the USCIS and they have emailed her telling her that i her son can come visiting. My question is that if i apply to travel and come to America for visiting i hope i won't be denied entry? Secondly, I'm looking for a job in America. I am a certified Nursing Assistant here in Nigeria.

Well, my sister in law came here legally. After many years of honest work and college ( became an R.N), she became a citizen. Next door to me is a mail order bride. She marriexd a 60+ man who owns the place next door over weight and unattractive. They met online and married for her citizenship. Last summer, multiple times, she comes crying that he is abusing her. She won't call the police. Im supposed to fix her problems. She has a college degree and a home in her country. She came here blindly and then expected Prince Charming. There are laws in place for a reason. She used him, and now she wants to get rid of him. He is fat, 60+, and disabled. She is in her 40s and left her kids behind.

My husband has filed 130 but is pending. Now I want parole and work authorization which I was told I can only be sent with I-865 changing of status. But the notice USCIS sent from my I-130 is that we should wait for approval before taking a further action. But one of my brother said I can file both changing of status I-865, parole and work permit together. How true is that?

I stayed in the USA for 170 days on a B1/B2 visa and then applied for a Change of Status to an F1 visa, for which the duration of the English Language course is 4 months. What are the chances of approval in such a case? Could you provide me with some guidance or share any experience?

They can't stop it completely, especially those inside in the US, can easily sue if wait times become excessive. Travel bans are the biggest concern.

He did NOT say that applications will not be approved under the Trump administration. He simply said there will be heighten scrutiny in an attempt to justify more denials. He also said that a higher level of scrutiny will inevitably increase the processing time under Trump.

Good morning! I am applying for cr1 visa under consular processing and just finished submitting civil docs and waiting for nvc to say i am documentarily qualified then eventually go to us embassy for interview. I am wondering if cr1 will automatically change to ir1 if the applicant becomes qualified to ir1 while waiting for embassy interview. I will be married to a us citizen for 2 years by january 15, 2025. Or do i still get cr1 visa then eventually apply for removal of conditions. Thanks!

whatever you do, don't fly through Miami. They'll give you a CR1 no matter one.

If you have been legally in the US on a still valid non immigrant visa for at least two months prior to filing there shouldn’t be any problem and you can stay in the US till adjudication. But you need to apply for a work permit at the same time to be able to take any job you want or outside the initial capacity.

Send all your paperwork together petition for alien relative, adjustment of status, work permit, medical and if you want to travel also the travel documents paperwork. And if your visa going to run out you can apply for extension

Nobody knows what's actually going to happen. Trump will have to make his priorities and the courts can also step in. The best thing you can do right now is keep up evidence of your relationship so that you have the strongest case possible when it's time to file.
