That is so true about fit. Everyone’s face is different, just like our bodies. I think I’m the first to comment!

Indeed, and then you add the various textiles, and grain-line to the issue and you have inconsistent sizing! Thank you for watching!

This is the first mask making video I’ve seen that uses the fabric ties, rather than elastic, bias tape, etc. I love using what I call “jersey ties” made from 3/4 strips of stretchy tee shirt material of various colors. I’ve never had a complaint of ear discomfort from any wearers of my masks, and the many color options make them so cheery. Thanks for the lanyard idea as well as the pony bead stopper. I have been using cut plastic straws, but the pony beads will be more durable! Thanks...nice video!

Your video came up on my feed for what ever reason, I am so glad that it did. This is such a great idea for the lanyards for my grandchildren to have on their mask for school. They take their mask off for different reasons at school so this will come in very handy. My youngest grandson loses his mask all the time, not any more.

Thanks for your tips Dawn! I’m the see it’s in my whole family so I’ve been given many masks from my family members asking me to change the ear loops in their masks. Going to use the Lycra idea! So very soft! And I agree with you... sewing is good for the soul!

Hi Mrs Dawn, excellent tips on keep track with a face mask and prevent it from loosening. Also, you did a wonderful job showing how to place a face mask perfectly on your face because every mask is different along with the person. You can also tie the ear loops for a better fit.

Do you have a hack for not wearing the ear loops on the ear ... I have tried hair bands and holders along the back of the hear but they always slip off and the mask comes off my face.
