I genuinely think that around this time period, if his people had pushed for him a little more, he could have been a decent B-list action star. Fun fact, this movie nearly killed me. No joke. I talked about this on a review for my series. I was 9 at the time and during a visitation to my father, I got sick. He sent me to the emergency room of a hospital, but the doctors were a bunch of quacks. They put me in a room, attached tons of butterfly needles to my arm, and I just remember being in this dazzled mindset. They take me home, turns out I had the flu and he freaked out. As an apology, he put the 1999 Lost in Space movie on, as it was something I was kind of interested. At the time, I wasn't in the mood for it. But I remember being in and out for a majority it. I was fighting between the flu and a really bad movie. I swear, the whole thing was a literal fever dream to me. Years later in college, I watched it and once I got to Spider Hybrid Doctor Smith, a flood of memories came back. Worst movie viewing experience ever...Given I felt like I was dying literally!!!

Yeah I was big on Lacey as well. I genuinely still love this movie though. I saw it in theater opening weekend. Looking back, Heather Graham is the real beauty of this film. But at the time I was 9, and she was like a "lady" to me. One thing I love about this movie is the Silicon Graphics Inc/SGI is worked into it for her "vlogging" device. SGI made the insane UNIX computers that animated this film and every other major film: Jurassic Park, The Abyss, etc. They also designed a video game console for Nintendo called the N64. Their version of UNIX is called IRIX, and it was prominently featured in Jurassic Park when she's trying to get the power back on.
