Do you remember after the proving Aloy and the people she did the proving with were attacked by a group and Rost showed up towards the end to help and Aloy was near death and Rost knocked her off the cliff as an explosion happened? Basically Rost blew up but Tearsa or Tersa said they recovered what little they could and made a memorial/ grave site. You can find it on your map called Rosts’s grave. It’s near where Aloy and Rost lived.

Dang you, meeting a Stormbird this early into your play through. As others said, consider doing some side quests (from the first area as well): you'll build up xp, materials, and get enough shards for more (and better) gear. Since you're already in Meridian you could skip green (Nora) and blue (Carja) gear and go straight to purple (Shadow) gear.. but that'd be a lot of grinding with underpowered gear, so best save up for some Carja gear maybe. And don't forget: you've leveled up a few times now.. you have XP to allot to character skill upgrades.

@@trugaming I can image there's alot to keep track of with this game. You might want to do a few of the sidequests and perhaps the weapon tutorials. They all give quite a bit of exp. so it get alot easier to do the main quests. Lots of fun seeing the playthrough so far.
