Definitely, a Mezzanine seat shows the Kerr is so intimate that you do not feel distant to the actors at all and get to see all the fantastic set changes and brilliant lighting design.

I sat in row F of the center mezz on the aisle and it was fantastic. The theater is so tiny and I could see everything including facial detail perfectly. Like you said the seats have zero leg room and I'm 6' 3" so being on the aisle was a godsend. The only bad thing about the mezz is that it's pitched so steep that getting down to your seat is a little scary.. that said because it's so steep you don't have to worry about someone's head being in your way.

My only issue with mezzanine is that none of these theaters can compensate for sound absorption well. The sound gets eaten up and winds up a bit muddled, and while I can cope with that in most shows, a show like Hadestown which has so many independent moving parts looses something. I felt the same way about Hamilton because of the lyrical speed. Also Tim Hughes is the understudy for Hades. YES PLEASE! Tony noms and becoming the next Hamilton... it was well on its way and then 2020. OUCH!

I believe Hadestown will win. My pick is Ain't Too Proud also due to the fact that Be More Chill is not nominated. I would have dead tied the two otherwise. I can't get More Chill outta my Head lol! It's the Little Shop of this generation. Too Prouds cast is the best on Broadway this season and The Temptations are the soundtrack of my life.
