Thanks. I believe you have to make sure the arrows point up and down to increase the surface area holding the pressure of the weight on the anchor.

It's actually best to simply screw it further in till it falls behind the wall. That way you do not damage your drywall.

I want to install an ikea ledges picture Self above and below my TV. My only problem is that i have a cat. He sure is going to jump onto that self. Is it strong enough to stand a “cat attack”?

Hi, I noticed that the toggle goes back until it's against the back of the wall. Does that mean the screw you used will just hang out and not be screwed it 100% completely? I'm asking this because I'm installing shelves and I need my screws to go all the way, so do my screws need to be a certain length?? (I have 3/4 inch drywall as well) Thanks!

When you order the Hafele E-Z Toggle Drywall Anchors, a screw is provided for installation. It is best to use the screw provided due to the threading and screw size being a perfect fit for the anchor. The screw cannot exceed 2 1/8" in length, should you try and use your own. The screw will sit flush with the front of the wall when the item is fully installed, the only part that will protrude will be the screw head.

Just push it the rest of the way through... it will fall harmlessly into the inside of your wall. Spackle up the screw-sized hole left behind and repaint.
