I've only seen the coupe in person but what really struck me was how good that painted lower front grille looks in a bright color like ferrari red. Dont think I really have seen/heard it highlighted in reviews (press cars seem to be more reserved tones) but I thought it was really attractive and will age well.

It's too small. Well, might be, ofc depending on drivers height. I wonder how Henry got in and had space for legs since he's over 190cm if not mistaken. I'm 199cm and slim but I had barely space for legs, on longer trips it would be felt.

The Roma is a great looking car, and does those Ferrari things well. But I just really dislike the cabin design (especially that incongruous plasticky center screen which will rapidly date the interior, and the haptic controls) And if I had the dough to purchase one of these, would be a dealbreaker.

What an impressive, beautiful car. And the Roma is finally a Ferrari that looks just so good in any other colour than red. But, I must say the sound of this V8 is far from F355 era and you get an equally beautiful car with better sound in form of the LC500 Convertible. If you can live with the badge, you get much better value for money - and I love that equally to great driving pleasure…

I just can't fathom why carmakers insist on making these 2+2 convertibles. Not only do they look worse than simple two seaters and you can't fit actual people in the backseats anyway. Benz has done that with new SL too. Other than that Henrys review is as goods as ever and this video is stunning.

Arguably the prettiest Ferrari since the 308. While most attention tends to be on the 296 and the 812, the Roma may actually be the most enduring in terms of its placement in the Ferrari stable. Will it become an icon like the 365GTB? I wouldn't bet against it.

From a performance perspective, it seems all boxes were checked with this model (except a 30% torsional stiffness loss! Jesus!). However, a Ferrari should either be aggressive or elegant, and that fish-face that somehow made its way through the design process is a complete disaster. The interior designers at Ferrari need to stop getting their U/I ideas from Chinese sci-fi films though. I can’t afford a Ferrari, but even if I could, I’d stick with my Porsche GT products.

Catchpole is way to serious to a point it looks he is no interested on cars... It's not bad thing but sounds dry and boring. Bring Jethro Bovingdon or Cammisa for the job! They are capable to transfer the emotions not only the facts!!! P.S. I'm at the 4th minute of the video and just leaving it really cant grab me!

Not a flattering color for this car, but refreshing to see fenders without the logos. The contrasting airfoil in the back looks like a vent for the rear motor. I agree that the interior is too fussy for the dolce vita crowd--of carefree adventures and guiltfree indulgences until cinematic fate intercedes (instead of Marcello and Emma or Sylvia or Paula, Henry Catchpole driving this car in the hills reminds me of Vittorio Gassman and Jean Louis Trintignant in Il Sorpasso, eek).

Far too little chrome to capture La Dolce Vita glamour and despite bringing a Ferrari chrome badge that iPadesque shiny plastic wrapped centre screen looks awful. Why isn't it wrapped in leather? The body shape and the rear end shiny stallion are nice.

Personally I thought I would not be budged from my love for the AM Vanquish 2014 onwards convertible, but I have to say this car looks so sleek, stylish, even sexy, this colour brings out all its curves, plus I agree totally that the steering wheel is far to fussy but do you need to be playing around with this stuff when it has Apple CarPlay … hope the sound system is as good as it looks …. Yes please ….

Henry, "La Dolce Vita" showed that "carefree glamour" was, for life, a dead-end. Nothing had any meaning. Nothing in life, satisfied. Not riches, not sophistication, not sex with a beautiful woman, not a Triumph TR3, nothing satisfied. "La Dolce Vita" was a tragedy. So, why, in 2023, would you try to capture that life is totally meaningless? That means that precise steering is meaningless, 611 horsepower is meaningless, styling is meaningless. This car is totally meaningless.

Really, a Triumph TR3? So it offers up Ferrari dynamics, and it can compete with a TR3, but it no way competes aesthetically with some more classic spyder designs from Pininfarina. I guess that has l lot to do with modern safety requirements, but with the top down, the three-quarter front-on view loses all the drama of the berlinetta version, which begs the question: How much do you really want a convertible?
