I don't get that loud noise as much since i adjusted my hoses. You don't want any slack. You want the airflow to be direct as possible) I do use both both hoses and clean my filter often. However, i do have the temp problem where it doesn't go below 73°.

Google the Haier website it has the correct size hose. I had this problem as well and was pouring the water out in the bathtub.

If you’ll add a insulated cover on that hose that goes outside it’ll be a lot more efficient!..and don’t forget to block the outside air on the upper window closure!..you’re welcome!..:)

Does your AC go down to 61? Mine always reads in the 70’s. Also the air isn’t as cold as I think it should be. Is there some maintenance I should be doing? I bought this 2nd hand so I don’t have instructions.

He doesn't even mention that this unit is a heater as well. Has a condensation line for A/C and a separate water reservoir for the heater. This dude is not super bright

You didn’t get the settings right. The first setting is ac mode, the two water drops is dehumidifier mode.

The power bill has not gone up at all, I drained the Ac one time so far and I have been using it for 2 years now

Waleska Alvarez there’s a spout in the bottom of the back. You have to keep unscrewing the cap until it pours out. Be sure to have a bucket or drag it into the shower.

K Kaye I just Dragged it out to my patio and tilted it over and barely anything came out. I cleaned the filter although it was practically clean. ..... on the display does it show the current room temp or the temp the AC is currently on?
