I am so glad for you, Hailey. Each account I hear from Sepsis patients is almost the same, misdiagnosis, fever, flu-like symptoms but also so much worse! How scary your experience must have been. Again, you are fortunate to have supportive family who helped assist you getting the medical attention you needed. Wow. Eye-opening. Thank you for sharing.

So glad you are doing well now. Sorry you had to endure this but also thankful you didn't loose any limbs like a lot of people do. Hope you have a healthy happy life from here on out!

When you mentioned you’re from Toronto & you waited 6 hours in the waiting room I wasn’t surprised. 2 weeks ago I developed Sepsis for the second time in 2 years. I went to the Montreal General, knowing I had Sepsis & they kept me in the waiting room for 7 hours. I’m glad you survived & you have recovered.

I understand what you’ve been through. I too had sepsis. I to have lung surgery. I was in ICU for 1 month. I have PTSD, depression and anxiety, cognitive issue etc.. I have just started a therapy that seem to maybe be helping me.
