Hey Maggie! Absolutely, I will make another video and I will address these questions in more detail. Just to give you an idea of my typical school day, I usually went to school two days a week and I preferred to have class early so that I could have the afternoon to myself. So usually I had class from 8-12 or sometimes 2 depending on how many units my classes were. I am going to be living on campus at UCLA and I was lucky enough to be given my own private room so I will not have a roommate. Yes, you will be seeing a lot of this in the future vlogs so just watch out! Thanks again for your support and the questions/comments you leave on the videos - it's greatly appreciated.

Good video I like the community college tips. Like you I also follow astrology. I am a Cancer rising, Virgo moon and Scorpio sun. With stalleiums in Saggiatrius and Virgo. So when you statted getting involved more in your college that is all about the Saggiatrius rising as we are social people and love the education process. One of the tips as a Scorpio (sun sign), was to get advise from an Aquarius (air signs have the intellilect) as they different advise. I will be watching some of your other videos as well, I am in community college right now thanks.

This is probably a dumb question, but do I apply for TAG this september 30th as a first year student or next year of september when I should start applying for UC's?

Hey Nadya! Not a dumb question at all, the timing can be a little confusing. You will want to submit your TAG application the same year that you submit your UC application. However, the TAG application is known as the Transfer Admission Planner (found on UC website) and you can actually beginning filling it out as soon as you like. It keeps track of your progress towards completing your general education so you can fill it out semester by semester/quarter by quarter. You can fill it out as you go or all at once when you submit it - it's up to you! It will save your information each time you update. But do not submit it until you are actually ready to apply to UC. Remember that in addition to the TAG application you must also submit the regular UC application in November. Hope this answers your question :) I have a whole video with more details on TAG too, so check that out if you haven't already and let me know if any other questions come to mind.

You don't have to go to a community college to get a bachelor's but a lot of people go to community college first because is SO MUCH CHEAPER ($10,000 vs $50,000). Usually you go for two years to get your basic credits (or associates degree) and then transfer to a university for your last two years for your bachelor's degree. You could also go the more expensive route and go to a university for all 4 years.

@@mihikakapoor8717 you need to talk with an advisor at your current school to see what credits would transfer over. Here's another tip too. Most employers don't care where you went to college. As long as you graduated from one. So choosing a prestigious college that is super expensive is not the best..you could get the same education from a cheaper college!

It depends on your major, but in most cases it's fine as long as you earned a C or better.

The best way to transfer into a CSU or UC is from CC. Schools prioritize transfer students from CC because the whole purpose of CC is to transfer, while those at a CSU already go to a 4 year university.
