Super old but my all time favourite romance is Mia and Michael from the princess diaries. It was kinda the book series that got me into reading so the nostalgia factor is there, but I always loved how genuine they were with each other, and I remember it feeling super organic. Not to mention you get to see the natural stresses of a long term relationship due to life and outside factors as you go through the series, and even though it’s about a princess and a fictional kingdom Meg Cabot writes their relationship in a super realistic but absolutely aspirational way.

I am definitely gonna read Lovely War. I decided it just at the moment you said that it includes Greek Gods!!!!!! I love Percy Jackson and the Olympians so much. I have read Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, Trials of Apollo! So, Zeus(king of gods), Poseidon, Hades, Athena, Aphrodite, Hesphateus, Dionysus (director...Nasty one), Hera(queen of gods).....I can go on but I have to stop! And yeah, there are Ares and Hypnos and many other too.

Historical fiction romances are my favorite. I loved tattooist of auschwitz and last month I finished beneath a scarlet sky. Both really really great beneath a scarlet sky is heart breaking in the best way though. 10/10 recommend reading those two!!

I really think you should try “the seven sisters” series by Lucinda Riley. There are 7 books in this series (the last one coming out this year) and every book follows a different sister and her story looking into her past. The romance in these historical fictions is just chefs kiss! Really recommend! ❤️
