Heyyy! I've been watching and loving your content for years. I dont usually comment but I wanted to today because I know how scary it can be as a content creator to switch things up and the fear that people may not like it but good for you for listening to your own feelings. You're content has switched up alot and I love it just as much if not even more than before because I feel like you are doing what YOU want with your channel and I love that for you. Also you look AMAZING in your bikini!! You didnt owe us anything but thanks for showing your full self physically and emotionally. You are right, its SO easy to SAY you dont care and yet still have insecure feelings about your self and how you look to others. It's ok I think to have those feelings if you csn just accept it and I love that you reminded me of this. Also love all the book recs... 😂 ANYWAY, lots of love!! Thanks for your amazing entertainment and sharing!!!! You are helping people with books, of course,but so much more as well!

Hailey I freaking love this new content and you! That body image quick talk was so honest and true, and I thank you for it. I still deal with it too at 29 and sometimes feel like I might never get out of that headspace, but everyone's journey with it is different. We all have bodies and there's nothing to be ashamed of! Also I've started making some half baked harvests recipes too! Some have been hits and others misses, but her food always looks amazing. 😅 can also recommend Sally's baking addiction! I made PB choco banana muffins from her and they slapped. Same for banana bread. Also I routinely make these banana bread bites from minimalist baker bc they're quick and simple, and you can control how big they are depending on what you want in the morning. 😊

I was feeling so lost of how I was unable to focus on my studies as well as ignoring priorities. I didn't do very well on my exams. But now I really want to feel good about myself and have more control over my problem with procrastination as well as binge eating sometimes. I don't feel good about my body either but I also don't want to hear about it from my parents constantly nagging as if being not skinny is a bad thing. And mostly it's triggering me so much that actually my mind is telling me not do anything about it as a sense of rebellion that I use to do when I was in middle school. I'm so glad that your have found a rhythm and I wish you well with your journey of healing❤

I enjoy watching your videos but have found these recent vlogs SOOO relatable and enjoyable!!!! Also weird suggestion for body image that I tried and helped me (where I originally heard it idk). I picked 3 affirmations I could say about my body and believe. Then I’d stand in my bday suit in front of a full length mirror with a 5 min timer set. Anytime I began to have a negative body image thought I’d stop it and say my phrases. Mine were: my body is capable of great things, I look nice, I am worthy as I am. There are lots of suggestions if you google! This was really hard the first few days but by the end of a week of doing it, I felt so much more neutral about how I looked and even began noticing some things I did like

Choice Paralysis is such a moodkiller! For the first time in my life I actually have a TBR and one thing I've used to help me make decision is one of those spinners (like they use in game shows). I found an easy to create one online and put all the titles in and just read the one it selects.

When you were talking about your bookhaul dilema of not having the notes. If it were me I would totally build a sort of database for all the books. Focusing on new books coming in, then just doing 1-3 already owned books a day. Eventually you have notes for all of your books (even ones you eventually unhaul, if you ever need to reference back). I am a bit of a data nut though lol. You could also add notes after reading (pros, cons, thoughts, etc).

Loved your chat about body image, and I remember in a prev vlog you hauled some self-help books. I'd really recommend Body Positive Power by Megan jayne Crabbe. i was on my millionth ED relapse when i read that book and it changed my life. the facts it gave me about weight and weightloss and the stigmatisation of certain bodies has fundamentally changed my outlook and life, and I think it could maybe help you on your journey too! 😂

@katiekaboom7747 Жыл бұрын
I'm similarly indecisive, so what I started doing (because I don't own any physical books, so my TBR is just a very long list of all the books I want to read before I die) was using random number generator to choose the next book I'll read. That's been helpful for me when I'm stuck and just cannot decide.

I don`t blame you about how you feel about your body. So many people are quick to judge and think being skin and bones is healthy. Love yourself for who you are and screw everybody else. I`m not a skinny person either but i do try to eat healthy most of the time. Keep your head up and enjoy yourself!

I am a mood reader as well so I try to buy only two books that am currently in the mood for so I end up reading it before I run out of that mood. The mood lasts for about a week or month, so judging and observing my own moods, I buy more consciously.

Instead of feeling like you need to haul every book you have gotten, maybe just pick the ones you are most excited about and haul only those, might make the video less daunting and also remind yourself of some books you're excited about. :)

You might try a re-read of something you know you like instead of picking up a new read. I am at the point where I am thinking of un-hauling my unread books and starting over, but I probably won't do that.

Hey I’m having trouble remembering the title for book that might have been on your channel. It’s about a boy who gets dumped by his boyfriend because he’s not serious enough.
