Eminem's voice is purposely being drowned out by the instrumental. The theme of the song is his being overcome by emotion. The singing itself is a joke. He's dropping his guard and singing (something he's not good at) because she makes him fearless. When he starts rapping, the mix changes and his voice is suddenly very clear. He basically turns on his skills again to remind you he's still that guy. The song is simultaneously sincere & tongue in cheek. You're meant to laugh at it and be touched by it at the same time. Which is a pretty accurate reflection of how someone like him feels about having a kid. Being both in sincere awe by the depth of his love while also knowing that he would've clowned someone else acting like this.

It is about his daughter though, the whole song is crafted around what she means to him. He deals with a crazy woman for Hailie's sake, he bears all the responsibility of the fame and pressure for her, to give her a good life. And all those songs shows how he feels about her, if not you need to listen more closely. When I'm Gone, Mockingbird etc. He doesn't want to get too focused on Hailie herself, he always wanted to keep her out of the spotlight. What he raps about is just his feelings, as he does with all his music, it's his therapy, passion and who he is.

Finally! I get so annoyed when reactors stop every 20 seconds to talk or question something that would be answered in the song if they had just listened for 10 more seconds. Just listen to the song, take it all in and then talk about it afterwards. I want to see reactions not constant commentary.

This was a song to her when's she's ready to listen to it explaining his stuggle and and battle with Kim, the custody for Hailie, I don't agree with taking away from the song not being so much about the relationship between him and Hailie because it's called "Hailie's song". See it more like a talk with her rather than a song about them. Because a song about their relationship and life could also have millions of names to. Don't judge the song based on the title, take it for what it is and not as literally and putting your own expectations heavily on your verdict.

This song was never meant for release and it was originally recorded on a different beat based on "The Beatles - While my guitar gently weeps", but he wasn't able to get the rights for that sample. His muted vocals are on purpose though. But in the start when you said you couldn't take another abrasive song like "Kim" and just want something smooth, hoo boy this was the right choice! This is almost all about them warm fuzzies.

You two do great reactions and you can tell it’s real honest reactions and opinions keep up the great work.
