@@victoriaballesterborras2427 Hello, thanks for responding. It's thinner near the scalp but thicker towards the end. Shoulder length hair. I've also coloured my hair in the past so it's a little bleached. One thing that helped with the dry hair was olaplex but it's quite expensive so it's more of an indulgence. The frizz and hairloss are my bigger problems now. Don't know many products for that.
@gausiashaikh25812 жыл бұрын
@@EizaPizza Oh gosh! Same here. Like you couldn't see my scalp even in the parting area until like high school. Then the world and its stress happened. I did do a dermatological hair oil routine whoch helped me and olaplex was also very helpful but i think the best thing i did was to see a dermatologist for some guidance as to my hair and scalp type. Now i use a normal more ayurvedic shampoo, a silicone free conditioner and the occasional olaplex no. 8. Something i also do when i feel A LOT of scalp buildup is to use a tresseme sles containing shampoo like once a month. I do the olaplexing on the same day coz cleaner hair. What about you?

I have the same hair type and I don't see a lot of youtubers with dry scalp so I had to do my own research. Most of the shampoos used to dry my hair even more making it rough , that's when I figured I should use only sulfate free shampoos so I tried the new tresseme sulfate free shampoo. It works well for me. Its not like a magic product but it does not dry my hair as much as other hair products. It also makes my hair feel kinda smooth and reduced my hairfall in the shower just a bit. I can't guarantee you that its gonna solve all your hair problems but you could give it a try.

Hey y’all. I’ll tell you my stuff so it can help people. I have scalp psoriasis which means my scalp can be super dry and my roots will become super oily. I’ve found shampoos with peppermint in them or the T/Sal shampoo from Neutrogena works well! I avoid silicones and sulfate because I have 2b hair as well and they’ll build up on my scalp causing further inflammation. Rosemary oil also helps inflammation and hair loss I suffer from with scalp psoriasis. I aim to wash my hair 2-3 times a week. I use a moisturizing conditioner because my ends become dry and it benefits my hair. I use the L’Oréal Elvive serum cuz it’s lightweight and helps tame flyaways or when my hair is out of control from being thick. I wring the middle part to the ends out before putting the conditioner in and leaving it in for 2-3 minutes. Hair masks are essential for anyone no matter what. I always put my hair in a protective style when sleeping, so for me that’s a loose fan bun, braiding it, or a loose ponytail. I also use claw clips and velvet/satin scrunchies I always avoid ingredients that have been known to dry out the scalp and fragrance products because that will irritate my scalp condition. I usually go to the drugstore for everything considering I’m in school, so for me that’s Rite Aid and Target. My go to brand for example is usually Love Beauty and Planet for my conditioner. I always do my hair care routine at night because I have more time and I’m not in a rush. I try and air dry my hair all the time because the heat from the hair dryer inflames my scalp, but if I have done the Curly Girl Method, I wait at least 2 hours before setting the hair dryer on medium heat and low speed. I use the Not Your Mother’s Heat Protectant which I’d like to contain silicones because that will protect even more from heat damage. If anyone else has scalp psoriasis, please ask questions if you’re lost!! I’ve learned so much this year on how to care for my hair

This is my hair type. Here is what works for me. I like the JVN pre-wash oil and just plain rosemary water. I wash my hair every 2 days btw. Before showering on washdays, i either use the scalp oil or rosemary water. I leave it for like 30 mins then proceed going in the shower and shampooing twice. This really helped me get rid of flakiness and reduces hair fall. For the oilyness that’s honestly due to hormones or any health changes you made.

I have type 1 hair it’s very flat fine and straight never holds a curl and I had make pattern baldness at the front, I was so unhappy with it in July 2020 I shaved my head totally and I started experimenting on different potions and lotions as it grew back to see what helped and what wouldn’t , I did rice water which was good but it wasn’t until I made it with actual rosemary steeped in it that I saw a huge growth spurt , then I started shedding like crazy my Dr diagnosed Talogen effluvium which was a Bummer ,so as it grew to my chin area like my photo I added oiling to my hair and scalp , pumpkin seed carrier oil with rosemary peppermint and lavender 3 times a week night before washing and it’s growing again stopped shedding after 5-6 weeks and massing the oil into my widows peak has dramatically stopped the balding and I now have baby hairs growing in , so it’s now sat on my shoulders , still looks thinner than most being straight but it’s a lot better than before and I’ll have to accept it’ll never be thick hair but it’s super healthy right now ,I’m currant growing the blond bangs out and leaving it alone as long as possible and going to get it trimmed for the first time since I shaved it soon , thank you for all your hair advice it’s been really helpful xx .

Hi Audrey! Thank you for this great video. I think I have dry scalp but unfortunately I can’t go more than a day or two without washing because it gets annoyingly itchy. My hair type I think is similar to yours, maybe a little more wavy and extremely frizzy. My main concerns and goals are to alleviate the itchy scalp and to tame the frizz. Any tips and suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks doll 💖

I have oily scalp, and dry ends with alot of split ends. My hair is long and straight, but I don't have much of it you know 🙂 the hair itself is not very thin it's quite normal. My goal is to have more hair😂 what is your recommendations?
@daisiesandpandas12182 жыл бұрын
Sounds like a drying shampoo. Without seeing your hair and just guessing. Sounds like the shampoo dried out your scalp so it produces more oil to compensate. And the shampoo dries out your ends. Try using a less stripping Shampoo and start oiling your ends. Analyse turns and trim if you see any splits

my natural hair type is dry, wavy, and thick, but a few months ago I started pulling my hair (trichotillomania) which led to me pulling so much hair every day for 7 months! luckily, I managed to stop before going bold and my hair is thin now and I'm trying to grow it back. I use: - coconut oil weekly - Hask biotin boost shampoo - thickening conditioner - sheamoisture black castor oil mask and leave in conditioner - I use the kerstase resistance serum - I use a trigger hair growth serum on the roots every night - I wash my hair every otherday is it good? please if you have any tips recommend it to me

I have a lot of fine, long (lower back length) like, 1b-1c hair depending on temperature/humidity. Generally my concerns are frizz, flatness, oiliness and shedding (I’m really thin around my crown/temples, I think because of my ballcap, since I wear that more often than not, and I don’t generally wear tight hairstyles) I’m not sure if my scalp is actually oily or if my fine hair just can’t take much oil, but regardless that’s an issue 😂 I haven’t really nailed down anything that works well on my hair so any recommendations are appreciated!!
