I have low porosity hair and it's 4c, most of what you recommend is great for high porosity hair. But with low porosity hair we can't use a lot of protein products because it makes it harder for the strands to absorb moisture so as a result we need to use humectants like honey and Aloe Vera products. But nonetheless, you have shared a lot of valuable information and will definitely try some of those products you listed. For sure I know my hair agrees with most of Creme of Nature products especially the shampoo in mango and Shea butter so when you shared the pure honey leave in conditioner my face lit up!😆

Ive been a long time fan of HE Rose conditioner, but Suave's Rose for volumizing is shockingly good for how cheap it is! I have a question, which do yall prefer? Conditioner or deep conditioner? Cause on one hand, both are able to give slip and allow you to detangle but on the other hand, you will be able to wash one out quick while the other will sit on your hair for a long time to give moisture and softness.
@mochamommyATX3 жыл бұрын
Depends. I do deep conditioner because I have color in my hair while others are fine with a rinse out conditioner with oil. Some people need protien cholesterol because they have damage. It really all depends
@huntingtonparkway3 жыл бұрын
@@mochamommyATX Does the deep conditioner remove your color?
@annathepiper79643 жыл бұрын
Conditioner. Healthy hair doesn't need deep conditioning. It's job is to repair damaged hair. If you use a high quality conditioner, you won't need a deep conditioner. Heck, you won't need a leave in.

I bunned my hair for the first half of my hair journey. It's a great way to retain length in my opinion, just keep an eye on your nape, or any other areas that may feel the tension from always having your hair in a bun. And try to switch it up between low bun and high bun. Good luck! 🦋🙏🏾

Did you keep your hair on braids or in buns etc? I can't wear wigs/ extensions and I have a lot of fine hairs that are really short. I can't figure out how to grow them. I'm thinking that braids/ cornrows exposes them to rubbing etc. because their ends aren't tucked away. I'm desperate - it's actually really depressing how fine and thin my hair is + not being able to grow it past a certain length
@nieyajahaharris4753 жыл бұрын
I have been there !! Try some natural protective styles like corn rolls, mini twists and mini braids, two braids back . You can do flat twists as well. But also remember to love your hair the way it is. Don’t be sad , God created us all with different thickness and density of hair. Yours is beautiful 💜

Oh, dear. Always love your hair as it is. I also have sort of fine hair. I personally wear wigs all of the time. Just using a wig grip and gel. No glue. I keep my real hair in single plaits underneath. You can try single plaits or twists if you don't wear wigs, weaves, crochet or extensions. 🙏🏻
