I have low porosity hair and it's 4c, most of what you recommend is great for high porosity hair. But with low porosity hair we can't use a lot of protein products because it makes it harder for the strands to absorb moisture so as a result we need to use humectants like honey and Aloe Vera products. But nonetheless, you have shared a lot of valuable information and will definitely try some of those products you listed. For sure I know my hair agrees with most of Creme of Nature products especially the shampoo in mango and Shea butter so when you shared the pure honey leave in conditioner my face lit up!😆

Ive been a long time fan of HE Rose conditioner, but Suave's Rose for volumizing is shockingly good for how cheap it is! I do NOT have thin hair whatsoever and get quite big and bushy, but my hair loves it. Dove Leave In Conditioner for curls has been really good, also. Cheaper products doesn't mean bad products.

I have a question, which do yall prefer? Conditioner or deep conditioner? Cause on one hand, both are able to give slip and allow you to detangle but on the other hand, you will be able to wash one out quick while the other will sit on your hair for a long time to give moisture and softness.

Conditioner. Healthy hair doesn't need deep conditioning. It's job is to repair damaged hair. If you use a high quality conditioner, you won't need a deep conditioner. Heck, you won't need a leave in.

I bunned my hair for the first half of my hair journey. It's a great way to retain length in my opinion, just keep an eye on your nape, or any other areas that may feel the tension from always having your hair in a bun. And try to switch it up between low bun and high bun. Good luck! 🦋🙏🏾

Did you keep your hair on braids or in buns etc? I can't wear wigs/ extensions and I have a lot of fine hairs that are really short. I can't figure out how to grow them. I'm thinking that braids/ cornrows exposes them to rubbing etc. because their ends aren't tucked away. I'm desperate - it's actually really depressing how fine and thin my hair is + not being able to grow it past a certain length

Are any of the products protein free?? I like that they're all pretty inexpensive, but my hair is protein sensitive..

The majority of the products are protein free. I do believe that the herbal essences has hydrolyzed wheat protein though. Not 100% sure, so double check. Hope that helps love 🦋🙏🏾

I love the recommendations but so many of these products have really bad chemicals as I was researching. Wish there were alternatives.

I've never heard of that. I'll have to look it up. But it sounds intense, so probably not.
