Stretching really is key for my type 4 hair I've realized as well, even if I do it without heat. Not only does it make make hair more manageable and easier to do different styles without damaging it, but my hair also seems to retain more moisture with far less product. Stretching is invaluable to my routine.

Great information ! One piece of advice: can you increase the volume on your end? It is a bit hard to hear you.

Beautiful hair, doc! 👌🏾I'm a first year resident, and I've been managing so far with half wigs and low manipulation hair styling. I'm on call every other week and barely keep up with my biweekly deep conditioning smh.
@EfficientlyNatural7 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! The struggle is real as a resident. What's your specialty? Props to you for even trying to keep up with the biweekly conditioning. I don't think I could. Anyway, hang in there and best of luck in residency. I know first year can be tough but it gets better.

Do you wet your hair anymore during the time that your hair is in the stretch style? Or do you just stream moisturize until your next wash day.
@EfficientlyNatural7 жыл бұрын
+Whitney Solier, I don't really wet my hair anymore..besides applying the moisturizer periodically. I'll talk about that a bit more in my next video

Do u think it's bad to use a comb attachment?
@EfficientlyNatural7 жыл бұрын
+Veronica, I think every once in a while is ok but it can definitely involve a lot of manipulation and cause breakage. Nothing gets my hair smoother/straighter than the comb attachment though...but I mostly try to avoid it.
