for poly use a little of acetone nail polish remover where you put the tape ever so lightly. For lace either spray a bit of hair spray on the tape area or knot sealer works for me 36 year hair wearer... good content👍👍 This is if the tape does not stick to the different type of bases.use it on the base not the scalp and let dry

Hi Adam, so speaking of Henry the mannequin head, is it a good idea to use pins or needles when securing a hair system placed on a mannequin head when styling, cutting, etc. The pins obviously go through the base making holes in it, is that okay or not best advised? Maybe using normal household tape instead?

Yes get yourself a Henry and get some thumbtacks - that’s what I do! They don’t go through lace as that has holes in it anyway. With poly just be conservative with how many tacks you use - I never use more than 2-3 tacks at once. Household tape can work too! Let me know what you choose

Hey man, great vid! Quick question, what kind of camera do you use for your vids? Your vids always have this good professional quality to them and I am just using an iPhone 13 Pro and no matter what I do, my vids just don’t look that great and always look super processed on KZbin

Hey buddy, thanks so much! Ah ok the camera on the 13 is pretty good - think it can film in 4K! Do you use the front camera or the back one? The back camera offers much higher res than the front camera. Also go to Settings > Camera > Record Video and there you can select 4K at 24 fps or 4K at 30 fps. Let me know if you notice an improvement after trying that 👍

@@HairSystemDIY ok will do, for some reason all my videos on KZbin look so filtered and unnatural, maybe it’s my imagination, I’ll definitely try that though

Yours look fine to me to be honest. Sometimes I notice with mine they can look a bit lower spec because too much natural light nearby can skew the vid quality for some reason
