I have always had fine hair, not particularly thin but needs washing every day because it gets greasy and flat. When I transitioned to grey/white , although I don’t think I lost hair, it became easier to see my scalp as there wasn’t any pigment in my hair. I think a Jon Renau easipart (smallest one) would suit me fine but I’m a little nervous that it might cause breakage or damage.

Hey there! I have thyroid issues and medication side effect issues that cause thinning hair and hair loss. My hair loss is mostly in the front hairline and across the crown. I would like to get a hair topper that would give me volume and would give me volume LOL! When I was in high school I had very long voluminous thick gorgeous hair then everything changed. And once I hit. Menopause everything really changed. Now when I take a shower and shampoo my hair handfuls of hair will come out. Thanks for this. I found you through Heather Land. I'm just starting out looking for a topper. I don't really want to do anything much more than covering what's no longer there. I just wish it was easier to find mixed gray wigs. My hair is brown with gray, and I'm not interested - really - in trying to cover the gray up any more. I did that until about 9 years ago when it just became too much trouble. So, I decided to just let it grow out. But now, after a lot of stress, my hair has thinned so much I can feel a cool breeze up top. I wrote all of this to ask if you know of a place/site that has a version of more what my hair looks like. I'd prefer it to look real, not synthetic. Thanks for any help! :)

Happy Friday beautiful! I liked all of the toppers and they all look really nice on you. I know I've mentioned that you have a cute bio hairstyle before. But I really think you have good hair and I love your it! I've never tried hair toppers. I have natural curly hair. Of course I can flat iron it so it can kinda match a topper. Also it will be hard to match my own color to where it wouldn't be noticable. That's why I don't think I'm a good canidate for hair toppers. Lol! I swear I can always count on you to brighten my day! Toppers aren't for everyone, blending can be a pain which is why I really split my time between toppers and wigs. I only really stick to toppers that I can match my color and texture and that's really limiting!! Wigs do give us so much more freedom!

Need a topper with natural looking hairline, be able to excercise in it and sweat, have a natural wave or curl that stays all day. Feels like a unicorn!!

Definitely want to look into synthetics if you want it to keep a curl all day through sweat and such.... you can get caught in a rainstorm and it'll curl right back up after being soaked if it's synthetic. I'd reach out to a place like Wigs.com who does free virtual consults and have them help you pick the type that is perfect for you!

I really need help with this because I have bought topper a wig but I am not satisfy after watching your video I can see it is not easy.....I am very thin in front I would need lace front for sure very low density because it looks more natural, plus easy part, full coverage like top wave style but you haven't show one like that I am in my late 70 the length 10" has to be human hair and the most difficult is to find the right color my is brown but there is a lot shades of brown... is so complicated I would really appreciate your answer and plus you haven't mention prices...I want to know the range in price too.

Check out the Jon Renau Top Smart WAVY in the 12' version! It is VERY similar to the Top Wave, but it has a lace front. The base is larger than top wave, but it will give you great coverage and still be a topper vs. a wig. Can I ask why it has to be Human Hair? I am a big believer in synthetics for folks who want easy, and, human hair pieces are much more maintenance than synthetics.

Hi Congrats on your topper decision!! 1. You can definitely have a topper cut to fit your hair, but just make sure you call around and find a stylist who has done this before since topper hair won't grow back if they mess it up! 2. It really depends if you want a lace front or not, and what size base - but for me, I really like the Jon Renau hair toppers, I own a few of their human hair toppers and wigs as well and the hair quality is really nice and the pieces are consistent in case it needs to be replaced or you need a spare... I also love the hair quality, also very reliable. Since it is a designer you can find lots of reviews on the product and retailers like WigStudio1.com will even do free returns if you get it and it doesn't fit or you don't like the color. I've tried wigs and think maybe I should try toppers. I have stopped coloring my hair which is now mostly gray so will not be able to wear a HH topper as they are not available in grays. My intent is to wear my hair up. Can you tell me what I should be looking for? It needs to be long enough to put up with full coverage in the back (not wispy strands). Not sure if I need a lace front or not. Typically, lace fronts do not tend to lay flat on at my hairline so have to use glue with them. Thin Hair Thick brand has a elastic band around the back so that eliminates that brand. My bio hair is currently almost shoulder length but long enough to pull up in the back to combine with a longer topper that blends with my gray hair. What do I need to know in order to wear a topper in a up-do? I am also concerned that gray synthetic toppers are going to look fake because of the shine. Yes, I've used dry shampoo and they still have a shine.

The first topper in this video is an 8" topper. Because of my hair length, I can't really wear anything shorter than 8" - which I thought was already quite short. I didn't realize there are toppers that are shorter than 8" out there

Look up pixie cuts so you can see front and back so you'll know what I'm talking about. And...yes, for many women 8 inches is very short, and I understand that.
