Breast enlargement (gynecomastia) is a potential side effect from finasteride, although it’s probably the most rare side effect. Talking to a hair transplant surgeon in Edmonton, he said he’s only seen it twice in 20 years.

I was always under the impression that second FUT surgeries would be in the same spot as the previous scar. You seem to have several FUT scars? Also, did you ever get SMP on your FUT scars?

I got SMP onto my scars but it is faded. Fades after a couple years. Sometimes they will cut out the previous scar during multiple FUT surgeries, but not always.

When they numbed your recipient area, did they give you the injection in the eyebrows? That seems like it would be very uncomfortable.

No injections in the eyebrows. That sounds horrible, haha.

Is oral minoxidil safe? I saw a comment regarding increased body hair as a negative side effect as well as cardiovascular issues

I know lots of people who are taking it without any major issues. I’m personally taking it and I’ve never had any issues. Safe is all relative when it comes to drugs and surgery.

Actually one more question I was under the impression that for Fue you shouldn't do more than 1500 grafts in one sitting since the survival rate decreases at that point is that true?
