Just a note: it should not be too tight. Too much tension so your thumb needs to do more work to move the blade. If there's not enough tension, the hair won't be cleanly cut. There is a medium...

Highly doubt that would be safe or even possible with my double swivel shears... and I've used swivel shears for so long I feel very restrained and uncomfortable using non-swivels. But that looks really cool... and I'm sure he knows it is a tang but was at a loss for the correct term at the moment...

Watching the flipping motion of the scissor reminds me of Val Kilmer’s character, Doc Holiday in the movie, Tombstone.😃 It also looks like the final flipping motion into setting a butterfly knife.
