I have noticed Barber shop / Salons here in the States tend to rush through the experience so they can get you gone and onto the next customer. These videos of shops there in Paris, Japan, India, Vietnam, etc seem to go the full mile when it comes to the experience and I appreciate that. To get something like that here you would need to pay a hefty penny. One of these days I will try to experience something like this.

Perso j'appelle ça de l'épilation (pour le travail à la cire et a la pince). Et un barbier qui n'utilise pas la lame, la serviette chaude et les techniques de massages qui vont avec je trouve ça dommage (ça doit être horrible d'entendre la tondeuse électrique et le seche cheveux pour se faire raser proprement). On dirait un mix entre l'esteticienne et la coiffeuse.

I tried this using a wax that was recommended by another KZbin user who has about 2 million followers and despite me not having a strong growth it removed about 2 hairs no matter where I tried it on my face. Actually I was going to remove all my facial hair as per instructed by the user but nope nothing but pulling facial hair out with tweezers is painful in some areas.

I have been watching these videos for so long & countless times to help with anxiety, stress, insomnia late at night. I apologize for criticizing, but why are these videos sometimes color edited or include music. In my opinion I feel like they take away from these otherwise great videos.

The earlier videos included music but all of the later videos no longer include music (with the exception of the interviews and vlogs) so we could work on capturing the natural ambience. All of the later videos are color graded as I typically go for a creative look that reflects the atmosphere of the shop rather than make every video upload look exactly the same.
