Everyone's obssesion with Targaryeon platinum hair reminds me so much of the early 2000s obssesion with honey blonds because of Jessica Alba in Honey. People really need to accept that just dying your hair the same color as someone isn't going to magically turn you into them, particularly when your skin tone and eye color are absolutely nothing like theirs.

@slumbrrbunnie6 ай бұрын
@@revekat2053 Did you bleach your hair to look like a Targaryeon? No, so then I obviously wasn't talking about you personally. Did I say everyone with platinum blond hair is obsessed with Targaryeon platinum, no I did not. I said everyone as in everyone who wanted white blond hair because of Game of Thrones and then later House of Dragons, which happened to be a lot of women due to the popularity of both shows. I was essentially talking about hair trends shifting due to women wanting to look like celebrities they deem attractive by getting their exact cut or color regardless of whether it works or not. Other examples include dirty blond with dark roots ala Pam Anderson, the Rachel which looked good on .0000001% of the population, the Twiggy pixie cut, the Marilyn blond bob. I could go on and on. So to sum up, a comment about general hair trends and women following them despite it not looking good on them is not a personal attack against you.

When I was in my young 20’s I learned that when you want a change go buy clothes that you thought you would never wear but always loved. That way you can return them if you don’t like instead of ruining your hair. Yes it was harder during the pandemic but we are past that now. I loved the darker brown/copper in the one girls hair. Immediate quick blue blues from HairBuddha. Which gives Hair Buddha the biggest headache? Quick blue blues or baking soda sadness? I'd guess baking soda sadness, as quick blue, while naff, is actually a hair bleach. First woman, I liked the colour after the first bleach, and with the final red. I quite liked after the second bleach before dyeing, too.

I’ve been bingeing on your content and loving it! I think I’ve been extremely lucky as I have dyed my own hair probably 30 times in my adult life and it’s always turned out. I’ve had friends (who are NOT stylists) cut my hair and sometimes help with colouring (example leopard spots). I used to dye my hair platinum and then do colour. Now I’m 100% gray so the dye hits differently. I’ve got two hairstylists on speed dial now because I’m more cautious. But still super lucky!

These people think that they can color their hair like their favorite celebrity when they have different natural hair colors, textures, etc. It’s the same thing with skin care products, everyone has different skin types, conditions, textures. As a medical aesthetician with 17 yrs experience, I see people that think they can use the same skin care as their BFF, they come to see me and their skin is all in an inflammation cascade. In the Aesthetician world, St. Ives Apricot Scrub is our “ Quick Blue” hair lightener/bleach. 😂😂😂 New subscriber here @Hair Buddha! Love you and your channel! You are the bomb 💣! 😊

@hairbuddha I totally adore you. Thank you for all your videos. It actually did teach me a lot as well. I am red head by choice (originally blond or how I call it artificial Intelligence). The last 2 times I dyed my hair, there was a Buddha-voice in my ear calling to take sections. Not did only help to get a more even result, but it also made the application so much easier, without dying myself completely. Honestly though I love, love, love red hair, the warm brunette tone suited the girl much better, her skin was glowing. And for the stained skin I can recommend Elumen Clean from Goldwell, it works so great, but best when the color is not dried into the skin. But the sensible thing to do, when you put color on your skin, is to clean it as soon you finished the application to the hair. And so you can use the time while it processes better than just by sitting around.

I'm still learning how to successfully bleach, and your videos have help immensely! When I 1st started bleaching, I didn't understand what the volume #s meant, so I always went with 20. I figured it was the safest route. Even now, with more experience, I still go with 20. I'm not a fast bleacher and don't want to fry my or my mom's hair. And I never use that blue bucket stuff! 😂 Thwnk you for all your knowledge in your videos!❤

I really like the first girl's results. Copper would've definitely complemented her complexion, but the burgundy seemed to suit her personality. Reds seem to be more intriguing, while blondes have in my opinion become somewhat trite, or maybe just more commonplace. I've always loved the unusual and striking when it comes to personal style, starting in my teens, and continuing for over half a century. I may be old, but I'm not dead yet. I intend to face my final days in leather and lace (black), with red or purple hair (unless I switch to blue, which I'm contemplating), boots on,, and ready to face my next journey. I believe the ones you love become part of the consciousness that is you, the part that continues, your soul. And I think you take some of the memories and lessons from one life to the next...those most essential to who you are. (I am definitely not leaving without my music; I'll at least be smuggling in some Grundge and metal, if so.) Point being, there's only one YOU, and you're the only one who can really do you. Go for it.
