The key to using box dye on your hair is to lower your expectations. My hair is naturally very dark, almost black. If I go out in the sun, I get dark blonde highlights. I used to use red box dye, and all it did was turn my natural highlights red, which was the effect that I wanted. It was a very subtle change, but it made me feel beautiful.

@tremolo21093 жыл бұрын
@@thatgirlwhousedtohavereall5549 It's probably at it's terminal length (just below my knees when wet), and I have no plans of cutting it aside from the slightest trimming of damaged ends when necessary. We'll see what happens as I age, but I'd love to have very long hair when it turns grey.

all of this fails could be avoided with just a little google or youtube search, there's so many useful and educational tutorials made by really good hairdressers out there people have the tools and just don't use them🤦 on the other hand, if they keep making mistakes we get more video reactions, wich is nice😂

I know right! My husband was planning to get a haircut right before quarantine started last year and so a month into quarantine his hair was really long and he really wanted a haircut so he asked me to do it. I spent literally a whole week watching a ton of haircut tutorials for men and short hair. Then I went out and bought the right type of equipment I needed. And when I started I took it slow had a diagram open on my phone next to me and only took off a little bit at a time keeping it longer than than I needed to. His hair turned out great and he loved it. Now he doesn't even go to the salon and get his haircut anymore he just has me do it. There really is no excuse for not spending at least five minutes and watching a few videos and googling it zD

I love watching these. I love the tips, tricks, and info that you give. I remember watching one and you said if a brush gets tangled in your hair to use conditioner. Well, this I found works with Silly Putty and Slime thanks to my daughter who did not put her hair up before playing with silly putty and slime. The conditioner worked. I would have just cut it, BUT she is wanting her hair to grow so I was able to save it. THANK YOU HAIR BUDDA!

When I was in middle school, I went to the hairdresser for a trim. She cut it all off to where I literally looked like a boy. My hair was at shoulder length and I was going to a birthday party that day. Never got my hair cut again. I have found a really good hairdresser, my mom who's hair is very hard to cut and style was the guinea pig, who listens to me but I never let her take more than half inch to an inch off, and I go once a year, sometimes twice a year. I didn't see myself in a mirror until afterwards where I wanted to break down and cry but didn't. My mom kept saying it looked cute, she had and always will have, horrible sense of style so I don't know of she was being genuine or not because that's how bad her sense of style is.

My favorite home hair cut to give myself when I was in college was done with a low pony on the back. Sciccors going straight down to cut it. Then I would have some one clean up the back for me and I would do the front how I wanted. It was shortish in the back and tapered to long in the front. I absolutely loved it.

So, I can’t comment on the other brands, but I spent 100 on a babyliss pro, and it is the most amazing hair device I ever owned. I love those pretty long loose curls but I am horrible with a curling iron and the wand. This machine gives me perfect curls. It has setting so you can make them looser or tighter. Seriously I can’t express how happy I am with my babyliss.

I melted my hair completely off in 2014 by using color remover to get the black out. It was half bleached and half black...It was called colorzap. I zapped my hair. In the shower my hair which was shoulder length was melting off in huge chunks. That was the most traumatic experience. It had taken me years to get it that long. I cried. Now I am almost there again. I’ve melted off the ends more than once with bleach. I’ve had to learn to be careful the hard way. I wait like 6 months before doing roots and just let my hair rest...after watching you here I braid it and let it sit with conditioners on it to restore it after you talked about how old the ends get...So I’m much more careful now and it seems to be growing quickly.
