Brad, watching you just brings back memories of my mom. My mom was a hairdresser (she passed away when I was 17). I really wanted emo/scene styles when I was a teen, but she would have been soo mad a me if I ruined my hair. Although she did razor my hair for me and give me a pretty sweet hair cut. That just gave me a flashback to Wildwood New Jersey in the 80s! For those of you who aren't familiar with the East Coast its part of the Jersey Shore. My cousin AnneMarie worked at a haunted attraction and worked with a guy called Dog there.... he had a mohawk and I told him that he needed to be careful lighting a cigarette because he had used too much hairspray and he kidding around lit the lighter near his head and his whole head went up and my cousin Annemarie and another guy that they worked with kidded around about if they should waste their Pepsi to put out the Flames! Meanwhile Dog is running in circles trying to beat out the flames!!! Needless to say he had to shave his head and people gave him shit all summer saying that he was showing off in front of me and now had to walk around with no hair at all!!!

Ready for a cringey story? When I was 11/12 I started going through my scene phase, however, I was not allowed to dye my hair, or do anything crazy with my hair at all. All I had was makeup. So I made my eyeliner super thick, wore black pants, and the same black sweatshirt all the time, and I had those converse that went up to my knees, and I was fat. I WAS SUCH A FUCKING MESS. I’m so glad my mom never let me dye my hair, because if she had, my situation would have been so much worse
