My 13 year old daughter just did this and I was so freaked out at first (I hid it well) she shaved her head all around mostly on one side and left it longer on the other (but still short) and OMG does it look BEAUTIFUL on her!!! Makes her big gray/green eyes pop and her big smile look even bigger!! The most beautiful part of it was when she saw thr final look and I have NEVER seen her smile so BIG , it was like she saw herself and said OH THERE YOU ARE, like she saw herself for fist time, I wanted to cry because I felt her emotion and I was so happy I let her do it !!! ❤❤❤

LOL me too- I’ve cut my own hair since I was in highschool since most people don’t really know how to cut curly hair well… I can save $60 and fuck my hair up myself 😂 but yeah, I went to a salon for the first time in like 5 years because I needed a good clean shape up after growing out a buzz cut, trying to trim it myself and still having all sorts of wonky layers. the stylist was like “did you know your hair is wayy longer on one side than the other ?” I didn’t but I was not surprised haha.

I did this like a year and a half ago. Me and my family went to the mall and my mom wanted to get a hair cut, so while we waited I was looking at all the haircuts/styles and I decided in like 10 mins flat that I wanted to cut off almost all of my hair. The hairdresser ended up cutting off a little over 16 inches! I felt SO good with the way she styled it and over all really liked it. It was funny when everyone was asking if I was sure cause its a lot of hair but I like to do different (some might say crazy) things with my hair when it comes to dyeing/cutting my hair. The point of my story is do what you want when you want with your hair and if it goes wrong, it'll grow back! Thanks for listening to me tell my story!💜💜💜💜✌

Funny enough, I cut it after i let it grow out after i had the left side of my head shaved, so the left side was a bit shorter than the right. I've gone from a full length of hair to pixie a couple of times in my life. I LOVE IT. My issue was my hair growing way too damn fast.. and like you said... its a technical haircut so it's expensive as hell, and cutting it every 3 weeks for upkeep just got too pricy :(

Good thing it's easy to do at home. Wish barber shops weren't such "manspaces", and more catered to women with short hair. They're still like $5-10. That technical haircut excuse is BS, sorry, it's easier than my tapered bob was. Hairdressers just don't know how to do short hair/use clippers.

The pixie cut was the best decision I ever made! It fits my face, and it makes getting ready in the morning SO MUCH EASIER! I have two kids, one, of whom, is special needs. I need the extra time in the mornings.

I used to have long straight hair (just below my shoulders). My friends and even my family strongly objected when I asked for their thoughts on getting a pixie cut. Only my mom and grandmother told me to go for it. Despite the many objections, I went for it (with a professional hair dresser. Wasn't brave enough to do it myself). I've had a pixie cut now for 2 years and have ZERO regrets. Both my friends and family love it and they're glad I didn't listen to them. LOL!

Brad, I went to a salon to get my hair trimmed and get opinions about what to do to my hair for my wedding in December. The hairdresser started to explain what a bleach wash was and talk about toning. I knew what she was talking about from everything I've learned on your channel! She asked me at one point if I was secretly a hair dresser lol this hairdresser also watches you all the time and was glad I was getting my hair knowledge from a professional
