Hey brother. So I've been jumping on a finasteride I used it earlier last year same brand different effects different results I've only went back on it for this one month so we'll see what the rest of the four months will look like but I was wondering is there anyway you could do a video speaking on different types of finasteride because they're not all the same I've been switched out and it actually caused me to lose the hair because they switch brands on me

The info I've been able to gather is that 1. You do not need to make the scalp bleed. 2. Using needles that are too long can damage the hair follicles. I've personally experimented with 0.5mm dermaroller and even though the needles are quite short, I am able to make my scalp bleed by applying relatively light pressure. I can't imagine using the recommended 1.5mm roller.

I have used my derminator 2 on my beard area with 1.5mm and had very little pinpoint bleeding. It is thought rolling can cause needles to go in and out at an angle which can cause damage

1.5 mm leaves scalp in my case completely bloody with blood dripping down forehead. Scalp thickness varies greatly. For some 1.5 mm doesnt leave any mark. For others 1.5 mm is equivalent to 2.5 mm for group one.

More needles will catch the hair. It doesn't really matter, but gliding is easier with 9-16
@orangefox5121
@orangefox5121 2 жыл бұрын
The higher the amount of needles, the more tolerable the procedure is. There is no point in suffering, so you have to find the cartridge which is ideal for you. I use 36 needles and t is tolerable. I use either light gliding technique along the hair growth lines, or stamping. 16 needles was way too painful and even 24 needles cartridge was unpleasant. I use that for the neck and face( until I use them all and then will stick to 36 needles only).
@DrYouMrTube
@DrYouMrTube 2 жыл бұрын
@@orangefox5121 Gliding is not advisable... try it on a piece of paper, you'll see it will be leaving thin lines. It basically cuts your skin like a saw or electric knife leaving long lines instead of just holes. Both ways work,but gliding damages the skin and often cuts the hair too( do a test and you'll see that too)
@orangefox5121
@orangefox5121 2 жыл бұрын
@@DrYouMrTube gliding is one of the techniques and it is acceptable and done by professionals when there is a gliding substance, but in case of acalp it is mostly stamping technique, which does not make it more tolerable when using lower amount of needles cartridges. Even with stamping technique 16 needle cartridge is much more painful and unpleasant than 36 needles one. I usually stamp on my scalp and glide on my face and neck as I use HA there for that glide. Otherwise I agree with you, and I rarely glide on my scalp, it was just a slip of the tongue as it is what I do on the face and neck

@killan001
@killan001 3 жыл бұрын
I would wait a year, then you can determine how well your transplant worked. You will also not have to wonder if anything you did to your hair might have mashed up your results. I had my transplant done in Turkey about 3 years ago, and i treated my head like a new born baby head for a few months and did nothing wacky for the 1.5 years except use the prescribed serum and shampoo. I had great results. I am looking into micro needling now as an anti-aging experiment and I hope to buy a needle machine soon. In addition, I will be using pumpkin seed oil, castor oil, and saw palmetto oil as a topical and taking biotin pills. I was sensitive to finastride and I do no want to lose my hair gains if I stopped minoxidil or deal with possible sides from that. One other tip, dermal rollers can actually tear skin causing damage if the needles are bent. Tiny bends can occur, the bends can not be seen by the naked eye. Be sure to use only high quality dermal rollers and not the cheap Chinese ones!! The machine would be you best bet, it will save you time and give you better results without as much effort. Sorry for the story - good luck!! Also Look up: More Plates more Dates Channel.

I'll consider buying the machine that derek is selling :)

@@deni040200 Hey your welcome friend. I have removed the quotes because I intend to start my own channel someday and I don't want Mr hairliciously to steal all my ideas lol. To be honest I don't really like that guy for numerous reason I won't bother going into, but the main reason is because he heavily advocates 1.5m for micro-needling which in my opinion will decimate some peoples follicles, and that would be super devastating for anyone to experience. Is hairliciously going to compensate those viewers of his that damage their follicles who use needle lengths that are too long? TBO even if I had $1,000,000 I would not give it up for the sake of my hair, so compensation wouldn't even interest me anyway. I also have a problem with the frequency he recommends, which if you have read my quotes will understand that when it comes to micro-needling sometimes less is more, especially when it comes to skin healing and rejuvenation. Young people in particular are prone to acting hastily, and may tend to rush out and go nuts after watching these kind of youtube videos, and some of these people will undoubtedly end up with more hair loss as a result of coming on too strong with the micro-needling. Micro-needling as a hair loss treatment is still in it's infancy really, and although it definitely holds promise, the ideal treatment regime hasn't really been figured out yet. Therefore it is wise to take time and consider numerous factors and adopt a conservative approach. I believe there is enough info out there for us to use our intelligence to carefully and safely experiment with this if we adopt a conservative approach. Finally to answer your question, I discovered those quotes from various internet sites and also from micro-needling videos on youtube (micro-needling videos made by females for general skin treatment). The bottom line is this; I would recommend everyone interested in micro-needling to start with 0.5m perhaps once every 4-6 weeks. Just try it out for 2 sessions (so if one was doing it once a month just try it out for two months with a once monthly session). If no results were found, rather than increasing the needle length maybe one could try increasing the frequency, rather than needle length. Also there are hygiene factors that need to be considered, for example it is HIGHLY advisable to refrain from heavy exercise for at least 3 days following micro-needling, because sweat can interfere with wound healing and also induce bacteria build up etc. I am not currently active in any hair loss communities right now, but i'll keep your recommendation in mind, it's always good to share info and compare notes (and stories) with others. Have you tried micro-needling yet and how have you found it personally? Any results, or did it hurt? Here is another quote that may not be completely relevant to us but is interesting nevertheless; “Aesthetician here....I am assuming you are using a 36 pin tip as you are doing CIT. Also, I think it is extremely dangerous to teach people to needle until they bleed. When you are needling, you are causing an inflammatory response. So whatever you are needling into the channels gets treated as a pathogenic invader and becomes worthless if you are bleeding because the body is trying to heal the injury. A 36 needle is for Collagen Induction Therapies where a 12 pin or 9 pin is for scarring. Collagen builds in the skin at only a .50 depth. I feel unless you are needling for Hypertrophic scarring or things like Acne Scarring or Stretchmarks, there is not really any need to go higher than 1.0mm. It is frequency and companion treatments that will be of a benefit. Not deeper needling which can cause things like Collagen Noduling which has to be removed by a Doctor and injections to break up the Collagen. Please be safe with this at home. I just wish this video was teaching a viewer to be much more sanitary to when needling. Viewers are much more aggressive and this video can be very dangerous when it comes to a novice needler or someone who is not a professional. I know this video was made out of love, but there is so much more that can go wrong....and P.S. Beauty is NOT about how much pain you can tolerate. Needling incorrectly can actually cause a person to look aged”.

@@jamest4198 Thanks dude. As for myself... microneedling every two weeks (was every week but dialed that back), with 12 pin Dr.Pen, only on hairline, at 1.5 mm (which I may reduce to 1.0 now). I don't micro until blood is present... redness yes. After ~ 9 months definitely new hair visible. Not a super lot, but definitely noticeable. Hope to see you on PerfectHairHealth. You'd be an important voice. Peace :)

Hey do you know if minoxidil is toxic for cats? I've read cases where tiny amounts on a pillow killed cats, but also saw a study where they used minox on a cat with a bald patch and it regrew its hair lol. Please let me know, that's the only reason i havent started minox yet!
@davids5738
@davids5738 2 жыл бұрын
I actually used Minoxidil for a little while I had my cat and didn't know of the potential toxicity to them. She slept on my pillow too, but I don't think it effected her. I had no clue at the time. I stopped with Minoxidil for a few years but when I started again I learned of the potential danger and stopped immediately(while sanitizing anything and everything my head may have come into contact with). Unfortunately I had to put my cat down this past fall(not related to anything about Minoxidil), but I did use Minoxidil again while I still had her. I just made sure to wash my hair/scalp thoroughly before I went to bed. So, it can still be used in conjunction with having a cat but my advice would be wash your hair/scalp thoroughly before placing your head on anything your cat may lay on. Better safe than sorry.

I’ve been micro needling have a question about oils - I usually do it with a pen and use 1mm starts to bleed - I use rosemary oil and when I put it I can feel like the scalp moving - is that normal or should I change it ? Also I’m considering to use onion juice after micro needling and and twice a day - because my year experience with onion juice - It thickened my existing hair - and it stopped the hair falling about 70% regrew 25% for my thinning hair. It’s like a glue effect it holds the strands so they don’t break - just wanted to know if there is anything else I can use that you can recommend ?

You just need to do it as genlty as possible even that can irritate your skin so be careful using a dermaroller I dont recommend it but yeah.
