Fire alarms can be triggered by humidity when they have a low battery - used to happen at my condo A LOT and gave us so much anxiety, then we heard it might be the battery, changed it, and then no issues anymore!

Your backyard would look great with a small set of patio lights. I put some up this summer. Cup hooks screwed into the fence and the solar panel string lights from Costco are about $40. Hopefully you used good soil when you potted up your new garden containers. Keep them watered. 💚

Great vlog Monica!! We need more, they're so chill and fun to watch. I know you love hydrangea's and the dogs seem pretty good about leaving plants alone but they are said to be toxic to dogs and cats so something to keep in mind, to keep an eye on them while they're in that part of the garden. I can't wait for the next one!

If you want to adjust the color of your hydrangeas, or if yours is starting to change color, you will have to adjust your soil ph. That is what dictates the colour :)

I hate the smoke detector hooked up to the alarm. My daughter gave permission for the fire dept to be called when she couldn't reach me, my phone was in another room, but there was no emergency. So after being billed $125 for a false alarm, I am anti-smoke detector/alarm company. Are you planning on putting the plants in ground or a pot along the fence? That seems like a really good location. They are so beautiful. I'm jealous.😊

Hello Monica just wanted to say if your alarm in monited it will send the fire alarm through to the monitering company and they notify the fire department if so call the monitoring if a faulse alarm goes off if it happens a bit have smoke detectop changed to a thermal to stop faulse alarms anyway good luck to ou both and hopefuly it never happens again.

When I was in High school the fire alarm (Simplex TrueAlert) would go off sometimes with issues with a heat sensor setting it off (among other things) so I do have memories if us evacuating and then the fire dept 🚒 would come by…a couple of times it was a trash can fire…a couple of times the day’s schedule had to be adjusted over it…another time the culprit was burnt popcorn in a microwave and I was right under the speaker when it kicked in and can’t reenact how are it made me jump

Had the fire alarm happen also. The alarm was replaced with updated version no further problems. Have your company do it quickly. If the fire department comes out too many times you get fined. Good luck.
