Love your personality and I love that you list all the measurements. other Haitian channels don’t. The new gen isn’t good at eyeballing yet so thank you for the extra effort 😂😂

Everyone cooks differently 😊because I was taught that you let the coconut boil with the bean 🫘 when the beans are half cook and when it changes color then you blend it good then drain it 2to3 time to take out the bean skin or whatever you want to call it. When putting the coconut last I’ve learned it makes your food spoil and a funny smell 👃 I was taught from the old school.

I put my garlic in a pot of water with the beans overnight. Are you supposed to remove those garlic cloves before you boil the beans? 2:45

You can try, the reason I'm saying that, there's a dish with fufu and a beans sauce, is not black bean is black eye peas. Is called gbegiri, have a look at it

It’s optional you can blend the entire pot or only half of the beans either way it will be good.

Correction habanero & Scotch bonnet peppers are grown in Haiti 🇭🇹 as well. Jamaican 🇯🇲 peppers, wrong!
