Kiera Lim So, the personal thought I have for that is that Zoro has his demon suppressed through sheer haki. He may not even recognize that he is doing it all the time, as when he first got the sword. Though, I do believe that's why he only keeps one eye open now. He is always focusing a bit of observation haki within, to keep tabs on the demon. Eventually, he will get even better control, and be able to thoroughly stomp people with demonic strength.

Humans have insane capacity for strenght, but inhibition blocks access because its too strenuous for the body's soft tissues, bones and tendonds to handle that load most of the time. Strenght is just about how many muscle cells you recruit into a contraction, and speed is just that tension maximazed in an insant (Jumping, for example is just pushing real hard into the ground before momentum takes over). If your brain, 2hich is already fucked up on some level considering mpd, is convinced you need that strenght, or that its safe (Like that famous '90 martial arts speed book drill where you convince your brain its safe to move fast by imagining it) then you could realistically pull it off. People have been reported snapping their bones by flexing muscles after being struck by lightning, which fucked with the nervous system and thusly inhibition. There could be a watered down, realistic version of fucking Cavendish in the world lol
