Ironic that I found your video. I am having the same issue and wanted to see what a good process for evaluating. Found your video and realized that you took your car to Apex Tuning which is down the street from my house! I am taking it there tomorrow to do the same thing. hopefully i get the same result!

Literally brought my car in yesterday and the service advisor called me today and told me the pump was done for😂😂😂. I wish it would be just some software update my car needed but uh-uh.😂😂

Unfortunately they are a weak point for the car. Haldex Gen6 moves to a brushless motor and will probably be more reliable, and the Mk8 Golf R uses a Magna unit that isn't even technically Haldex. Just make the pump replacement works before you leave the shop, mine didn't work for a long time after it was primed improperly!

@@BS.Garage yea I let them go ahead and change the pump and flush the system. He just called and said it’s ready too. Kinda excited to see how she’ll perform and how long she’ll perform.

Basic settings > pump moter>go

How much did the recalibration run ya. I’m assuming you didn’t have to take it to audi

I did not need to take it to Audi. The shop I took it to did not charge, since they didn't think they actually fixed the problem.

Its not that easy of a fix in most cases
