When concerts start happening again, this group is high on my list of wanting to see. I love their entire aesthetic from the clothes, props, hair to the slapback and sometimes drippy reverb! And they are all gorgeous, though I would love this band even if they weren't. Its just a bonus.

I think Sarah chose a longhorn bass, because when Sarah in the Millwinders "only" sang, her bandmates James or Christopher used a longhorn bass. And this kind of bass-guitar is a good choice for surf-instrumental music. It also can growl like a Fender bass (a compliment). In this song you can her it occasionally. For example at 2:04.

Well, I can't say I'm a fan but great work anyway. I can really appreciate the song. Sounds like it came right out of the early 60's. If I heard it without being told, I wouldn't know any better. Could've been a lost track from Dick Dale for all I know. Great playing all around. Respect!

Another great tune by these ladies. However, I'm surprised by the negative camerawork comments. Personally, I was pleasantly surprised by the production values, which are a big step up over the other Surfrajettes videos on You Tube. These ladies deserve better and this is a step in the right direction. This is my current favourite Surfrajettes video.

This is a professional video whereas nearly everything else is by someone kind enough to share their enjoyment with other fans, in many cases by holding up a phone on the spur of the moment. This Is Red have adopted this style with their other shoots. All these videos have been watched millions of times.

@@chrisst8922 'Professional' doesn't necessarily mean good. Tend to agree with the comment about camerawork being too close up. In this video, the musicians look like they're posing. It's all a bit too glossy. Not the greatest of songs either, imo. I like the band. And lots of really brillant videos of them on KZbin. Just not this one.

Great song, sorry, bad camera work. It needs shots of the whole band playing. I guess this was supposed to be artsy. I love you ladies. I always want to hear more of your originals of course, but you might want to consider this as a cover, Evan Johns & the H-bombs - Evacuation. Very surfy and rockin'. I love your choice of unusual covers. This would be another atypical cover for a surf band. I know of which I speak, my wife is friends with Eddie Angel, amongst others. I loved your cover of Train Kept a Rolling. Very exciting., keep it in the set list. Can't wait for you to make an appearance in the Tampa Bay area. I will be there. I'll be the one with admiring eyes and ears.

Great lighting, great video quality, and really solid recording, but I felt like it was on zoom the entire time - 2.5 minutes of guitarist and bassist moving portraits, plus a few incredibly brief cuts to the drummer. A thought occurs. Have them back a few more times until you find that quick cut/long shot & close up/wide shot middle ground. I'm completely willing to sit through several videos of them playing until it all clicks. :)
