This is the greatest intro in to the Hawaiian music and culture. I was very ,very fortunate to have been able to go to Hawaii. I went there in 1964 for a weekend, and I lived there for 7 years. I was very lucky to be exposed to the "Aloha Sprit". I have lived in Europe and Asia, not visited, but lived there. and never have I felt the way I do about the people of Hawaii. . till I landed in Hawaii. I have adopted the Islands as my home. Being an Army brat, I have had the chance to live in many countries. There is nothing like Hawaii. their music and their culture is second to none. I only wish I could do more for the Hawaiian people, to help preserve the Aloha Spirit. I am not done yet......... This lady, Amy, has the voice and the spirit of Hawaii in her heart. Her piece, Aloha No Kalalaua is the most beautiful piece of music, that exemplifies Hawaii........ Mahalo Amy, Foster, a resident of Waikiki In the 60's I only wish I could share some of my memories of those wonderful days.

They shut the Sugar Bar down...I'm from Kauai and am now living on Oahu for awhile. This is truly sad. Similar to Club Jetty on Kauai after the hurricane they never re-built. To the beach ...
