Thanks for putting this together and providing the playlist. I’d seen most of Haley’s songs individually but great to see the whole show. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone who looks so comfortable on stage yet has such a hypnotic presence as Haley does. So many great moments but I hadn’t appreciated how good Song for my Father is until seeing it again.

What's different about these performances as opposed to the individual videos I posted years ago, this includes video Casey's Dad, Ira, who apparently taught videography at Idyllwild, gave me months after the show. Back then I was limited by my equipment, many cameras have a 20 minute limit recording videos and would shut off. Luckily I made acquaintance with a family who happened to be friends of Casey's family, they offered to watch my DSLR which was recording the distance video, and turn on the recording each time my DSLR automatically shut off. That left me free to go down into the Pit in front of the stage to shoot the 'medium shots'. I had seen Morgan James at the Newport Jazz Festival weeks before where I met Pam who was running the event's audio/video systems. In order to video Morgan, Pam had me fill out paperwork etc. I must've left a good impression because when I went to the Idyllwild stage to see Haley and Casey before the show, Pam was also running the Idyllwild show. I told her what I was there for and she asked me if I wanted to video from the Pit, of course I said Yes. That's part of the reason why there's so much chatter at the end of the show, the pit was empty until near the end when Casey invited fans to come down to the pit and dance. Also, the family keeping an eye on my DSLR on the hill happened to be the parents of young Miles, who was the toddler that ran on the stage to play "Take 5" w/ Casey on the piano. That's honestly the most amazing thing about the first 10 years of doing what I do. I never planned on any of this happening, other than to share some amateur videos w/ fans who couldn't make Haley's shows. What was crazy is how many things were so connected, how opportunities opened up leading to more surprises and amazing coincidences that made all of this possible. I felt some 'thing' was creating a path for me to follow the bread crumbs, one thing leading to another, then another... I am incredibly grateful to have the opportunity, experiences of a lifetime
