Haley Strategic/Onward Research's newest chest rig. Worthy of 600 dollars, or hype beast nonsense?

Haley Strategic and Onward Research are known for innovation. But does their latest offering offer the same value at the price of a fully scaled plate carrier? Let's find out.
Forgive the audio quality, it seemed like suddenly there was a rally race going on off the main road nearby.

So the AMP was originally designed as an upgrade for the TRMP. You can turn it into a chestrig if you choose but its far more economical to use one of our existing chestrigs and add expander wings than building the TRMP from the ground up but its a nice option to have if thats your main system.

It depends on what straps are pictured. In some of the promo pictures I have a lunar concepts HX strap which has laser cut molle in it that I then looped shock cord through to hold onto the antenna. In the video itself I have a H strap from mayflower that comfortably allows you to just shove it in an antenna keeper.

It’s hard to make sense of Haley’s pricing strategy. If a d3 assembled rig is $200 bucks and the trmp crx is $160 how do you justify the $50 on average for any extra pouch you want to add to the trmp? There’s no rhyme or reason behind their pricing

My two brothers in law no longer talk to me because of a situation where they ended up out front of my house at 2am in a white van and I circled the back of the house with my rifle and shined it in their general direction to ID them. @@sectorseven07 You're good dude, it's not a knock on them at all. I'm sure they're happy to get actual feedback and it'll probably get incorporated into the next iteration. They're both at the point where they aren't doing this for the money, because this kit won't be a widespread success. I think they do this more for the cool opportunity they have available where they can put all their thoughts and ideas on paper, refine it, and turn it into something tangible and usable, and have a way for fans to participate in that, and if it helps someone in the field, that's added satisfaction. Most of us like to tinker or DIY, but we don't have access to state of the art machines and umlimited nylon, otherwise we'd all love to create our own customized gear. I think they did well enough with their rifle mag pouch and the versatility, but they definitely limited themselves to a smaller group of people who run different calibers. The price isn’t worth the product for those who only run 5.56… which is the majority of users. The thorax… major flop. Not worth the price for what you get. 600 bucks for an all encompassing scalable chest rig with cutesy words on it… you can get a full spiritus rig for half that, sans the one liners.
