For skincare, you can watch shireen idris, lab muffin beauty or dr dray (always watch dr drays videos with 1.5× / 1.75× speed with subtitles on). Hyram learns from these people (he has said himself) and gives advice to others. But his explanation is not always detailed. So it's actually a matter of preference if you want a detailed explanation of skincare or just the surface.

I will never be able to explain how grateful I am to you. I have deep dark circles of multiple colours (because why not? Let's be green, purple, red whith just one dot of blue dark circles 🥲) and no amount of concealer could hide them. It would always creases, even with the smallest amount used and it just worsen the situation. It's been years of insecurities about it and I am not good in make up to begin with and every failed attempt to hide my dark circles made me insecure about makeup. I found your video a week ago and bought the product thinking it was the last time I try. I nearly cried of relief when it worked this morning! I had never even realized that darker and lighter skin shades would need different brightness of color corrector, this is really informative. I personally just use red under my eyes and around my mouth, I've noticed that other Indians do this too

I know colour theory, but never thought about using colour correction. I think it might be less stressful for the skin than heavy foundation or concealer (I’m only preparing myself to start using make up, so I don’t know much about how products affect the skin). I am so lucky to see this video.. I have suffering with my under eye dark circle, thanks to you, I use meyorange blusher mix with my foundation to create my own under eye, it is 80% can neutralize my greynish under eye. So guys, u don't really have to buy new color correct, just check of any color in any texture u have at home and try to use it as color corrector, maybe it will work.

It's so nice to see that this channel focuses on more natural makeup that enhances your natural facial features! Glam makeup is beautiful but not really suitable for daily wear. Trends are moving more and more towards natural dewy makeup, and more people are being aware of undertones (your channel played a big part in that btw) which is always a nice thing, especially for beginners who don't want to look too weird at their first attempts

This is the first video that came up when I looked up colour correction (because I want to buy a palette to try it) and I’m so glad it was 👏 ! So informative but still concise! @@katarinatica9452 aaah, i see. i myself look pretty greenish at times, so i definitely understand, lol. im not an expert by any means, but I've always noticed 'sickly' tones usually look fine if you correct main problem areas (around eyes and mouth maybe..?) and find a blush that really (really) fits your skin tone. think more wine-red, mature tones---applied subtly and sparingly---instead of pink, for example. embracing your skin color, instead of trying to smother it, usually works great if you know what other colors suit you! wear olive, brown, gold, and red tones, they'll liven you up and complement your natural color. i know this wasn't the answer you were seeking, but i hope it helps either way!

As someone with dark hereditary circles..I was following the overwhelming advice from the beauty world for years to use a peach corrector. It wasn't until recently I realized yellow (pale yellow) was the correct color to neutralize my circles. According to your video I see why. I needed yellow not peach or orange to correct dark purple circles. Thank you
