I know I'm super late but honestly I only saw immense improvement in ballet when I started college for modern dance and they required 2 hours of ballet every. single. day. And in a 3 month period I saw a huge improvement in technique, control, and strength. Hopefully you got accepted and start to take classes like that in college!

I play a lot of volleyball and at the beginning I was absolutely awful. Truly horrendous. Now, about two year later I'm training, looking to get into the England squad next year. But back at the beginning, I didn't want to wear my kit because I was insecure about my body and I wanted to quit because the other girls there were incredible and made fun of me. But now I'm so glad I did it and stuck with it because it's one of the things that make me truly happy. Sorry, that was Hella long

Amber Black I started when I was 3, but then I quit at 9, but I really want to go back but now I’m 13 and I feel like I’m old too. But you’re never too old to start dance, so you should go for it. Just be ready for the hard work. I’m trying to find a studio right now to go to.

Amber Black i always wanted to dance and i didn't start teaching myself how to until i was 14 and i'm still self teaching pretty much (there is a dance pe at my school but it's nothing like a real studio) and i'm really glad i did because it's only been a year and a half and i've already close to or on the same level as my friends who have been dancing their whole life, bottom line; you're never too old if you have dedication!
